In the last few days / weeks I have seen some hints about McCain stepping aside and letting someone a bit more conservative take the nomination. My first thought was that Newt might be the person.

Thoughts?

No way is John McCain stepping aside.

Newt is essentially the same as McCain.

McCain should let Buchanan take the reins if he wants a conservative.

John McCain will not step aside. Any suggestion of such a thing is total rubbish. No one with an ego the size of his would ever do such a thing.
