I would use vixy.net

All you do is download the thing (the browser one is in beta and still buggy), and you just put the link in there. It's quick, easy, and free. That's what I use anyway..

No, downloadhelper.net <-- pwns everything else. If you have firefox, it's pure gold.

In Tools -> Downloadhelper -> Preferences -> Menu Entry Expiration (ms) = that's how long the content stays in the 'menu' for you to download.. say if you have 5 minutes.. (MS = milli seconds), after 10 it's gone..

Sometimes the naming of the files shown, makes it hard to download the right thing if there is a lot of content on the page.. with names like asljasfnafasf23423.flv (for a movie called say, Global Warming or Global Governance) just remember the newest comes up the top.

If you have the menu expiration long enough, (easy) you can download google video's..

Any way if you need help, I can. :)

I use the free Real player...after you install it just hover your mouse over a Youtube video and a "download this video" button appears. Works best with Internet Explorer

http://www.real.com

Then I use Videora to convert the Youtube video into a video I can watch on an Iphone/Ipod

Get an FLV player... (epic too, super simple, clean etc.) (http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html)

The youtube videos are all downloaded in that content .flv - you can upload to youtube in that format etc.

Search: Pazera Free FLV to AVI Converter - for those that want to convert to avi, or mpg. :)
