Carlin's truely great, but no matter how dead-on his views were, he didn't cure anyone's apathy. I always felt more apathetic after listening to him rant about how fucked-up everything is and that nothing would ever change that. Today I feel like he may have been on to something. R.I.F.P. George.

Loved that clip.


Its a damn shame he passed, he was one person who was actually worth a damn to the world and even if it was just jokes he had acquired the cultural standing to allow him to voice his opinions, people listened to him. Everyone loved him.

I got to see him perform live in Cincinnati about 7 years ago, I think I was 17 years old. I got lucky to get tickets.
