This is in my opinion the best speech I have heard him do. His speaking style, sense of humor, everything was great.
He just got through...He received a nice complement from Dinesh D'Souza. Ron's speech was great, Dinesh's if you listen carefully, he leaves the words in there to allow a rational discussion to occur, perhaps ;)
Anyone got a video of this?

He had a few words sprinkled in that allow for growth. I think his premise though about America through Bin Lauden's eye, is flawed.

Anyone know how much Ron Paul agrees with this Larry Abraham guy? I never read one of his books, but he is against the current foreign policy, but it sounds like he agrees that we need to support some of the dictators to keep stability.

They have some points but they are taking the extreme worst case scenario which isn't that likely, but it is possible.
Pakistan is more or less civilized, it should not be compared to Afghanistan which is a Old American West type society which has little or no law and order. Just the tribesmen takes care of each other. Pakistan would elect a democratic government which might have some sympathies to the extremists, but they would be somewhat stable. Pakistan has that infrastructure in place.
Pakistan is a democratic country. America spit on their democracy and support now a crazy islamic fascist. It can't get any worse. The taliban are very unpopular down there.

Some Arab countries treated Jews like dirt before the 20th century. The majority of Arab countries had large Jewish communities tho. Arab Nationalism and creation of Israel increased the tension between the Jews and Arabs ten fold.
