The coalition had $23 billion of Iraq's own money to spend on rebuilding Iraq. The largest single recipient of Iraq's money was Halliburton with $1.6 billion. Whilst children were dying in hospitals without the most basic medicine and equipment, much of this money is still unaccounted for alongside allegations of bribery, corruption, fraud, mismanagement and incompetence.

"The BBC's Panorama programme has used US and Iraqi government sources to research how much some private contractors have profited from the conflict and rebuilding.

A US gagging order is preventing discussion of the allegations.

The order applies to 70 court cases against some of the top US companies."

First aired in 2006. In this harrowing documenatary Ali Fadhi uncovers hospitals flooded with sewage and babies dying for lack of basic equipment in his search for the missing money.

I'm sure the original BBC report has been posted on here but I wanted to start a new thread to make sure people had a chance to watch the documentaries
