The opponent in my race, an elitist who opines the virtues of Barack Obama (and hopes to gain a seat in Obama's administration if elected), drew first blood this weekend in the above article in the Miami Herald calling me an 'acolyte' of Ron Paul. For those of you who don't know the term, an acolyte is anyone who performs ceremonial duties (like lighting altar candles). In other Christian Churches, the term is more specifically used for one who wishes to attain clergyhood.

The establishment clearly is nervous employing this type of smear tactic against me, Ron Paul and the freedom movement. The insinuation is an attempt to paint me as a "disciple" of Ron Paul, a fanatic of sorts. I'm gearing up for a great challenge!!! The campaign season for 2008 in Miami Beach has begun!!!!!

I hope you'll all stand with me and my message of constitutional, accountable and limited government. Please remember to donate on July 4th www.FreedomSlate08.com. With proper funding and strong countrywide support, candidates like me can and we will be victorious over the elitists.

in au~h2o terms... this is a backhanded compliament... sling back with how out of touch to the needs of the middle classes your opponent is...

tax relief etc ---- defend ron paul's stance on the bill of rights and also compliament the supreme court's take on habeas corpus... ask

the voters if they want a continuation of politics as ususal or a new direction for the 21st century. point out how politically adroit obama

is and why he seems to be a re-cycling of 70 years worth of democratic party cliches. if things get too tight, accuse him of being a closet socialist

I'd take that as a compliment... shoot, I'd probably even call him up and thank him for running the ad.
