He basically said the New Orleans survivors (subtext: black people) were lazy and just waiting around for government assistance, while the flood victims in Iowa (subtext: white people) are doing great because they're taking action without government assistance.

I think both situations are a bit more complicated than that.

This host is just terrible, he always quickly "counters" Ron Paul's points and doesn't give him a chance to respond.

Yea, it would have been nice if RP had pointed out the fallacy of that statement, just like when Glen Beck said this in the 1 hour interview: "All right. So, Dr. Paul, honestly, before September 11th, I didn`t care about the Middle East. They`ve been fighting for 5,000 years. They could have fallen into a giant sinkhole. I don`t care."
But i guess RP can't point out every narrow-minded racist statement he is faced with.
