I'm not really a Ron Paul supporter nor am I opposed to him, but I wouldn't mind talking with other people here.

Can I suggest you go and read Ron Paul's book "The Revolution: A Manifesto"

Your local library will probably have a copy (at least they should).

Reading that would give you a better understanding of where he is coming from on a whole host of issues... and it much better than a bunch of short sound bites, or forum posts.

I second the suggestion of reading the book.

Full disclosure: There are things that Ron Paul has said with which I disagree. Only a few, but they exist. But real freedom means that you disagree sometimes. On balance however, I like Paul's message, what he stands for, and what he is trying to accomplish. He's principled, he speaks his mind, and he fights and speaks out for what he believes in, a combination its hard not to like. I'm encouraged enough by his message to let the disagreements slide and accept to agree to disagree.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

For instance, Chamdar, I completely disagree with Asgard here on principle alone. What principle exactly? I'm not sure, but I like being contrary as do many around here. :)

But I will agree on one thing: welcome to the forum.

No you don't. :p

(And I forget - did you pay for the full 30-minute argument or just the 5-minute excerpt?)
