NOTICE HOW NBC DOES NOT MENTION THE RON PAUL SUPPORTERS, but the Spanish one does! They show a Mitt Romney sign, but completely overlook Ron Paul!

From what I understood. The Ron Paul supporter was saying we're giving a message different than Obama but also different from the other Republicans, the neo-cons. Then there was a group saying that we shouldn't ease restrictions on Cuba because it will just help Castro.

Wow! I couldnt understand all of it but Miamis passion is incredible!

Sounds like RP May own Florida soon ????

These people are so passionate if we could only duplicate their energy elsewhere in the USA.

The funny thing is that Ron Paul would be much worse than Obama, he would lift travel restrictions and trade embargos.

aw yeah. that's the miami meet up group (haven't made it to a meeting yet because of school), but I'm glad they are getting exposure!

As I said before, I think this community and others like it who are heavily anti-socialist and who speak Spanish could benefit from issues on the ronpaul site in spanish too.

The Cuban-exile community is VERY VERY VERY Right Wing anti-socialists. When Obama said that he wanted to ease the restrictions on Cuba, everyone here (who wasn't a democrat) went nuts. And a new influx of Venezuelans are able to empathize. But it's not the travel restrictions that are bothering the Cuban community, most older Cubans hate that law because anyone can go to Canada or Mexico and then to Cuba, it does nothing but help Castro justify his message, so in that respect, I agree with Obama. People are mad because of his plan to "talk with Castro, Chavez, etc..." while they are violating human rights like crazy.

Well, the protestors were hardcore Cuban exiles against Castro and were complaining about Obama's stance on lifting travel restrictions.

I'm for ending the Cuba embargo and I think RP is as well. The embargo does not improve the situation in Cuba. We have had it in place for 50 years and it has done NOTHING of any positive value as far as I can tell. Isolating a communist nation from the world lets their leader feed into a "see? the world hates us and we are on our own" type of sentiment and stops people from being exposed to capitalist values, so I think it is unfortunately counter-productive for the aims the exile community wants.

Unfortunately, this is true of many things. The neo-cons have their heart in the right place in that they want prosperity and peace for America, they just have a really, really bad and counter-productive way of trying to achieve that.

That's not all. I forgot to mention that I am against the concept of travel restrictions in the general. I think the very idea that it is illegal for me to travel to a particular foreign nation is an affront to my personal liberty.

On what moral grounds can a nation imprison me because I travelled to a particular nation? It is tyranny.

Umm, those restrictions and embargos do more harm to the people of Cuba than they do to Castro. Ron Paul would be the best thing to happen to them.

ha, first time I heard the word Neo Conservatives in Spanish. The Spanish newscast mentioned Obama's openess to talk with Venezuela, Cuba, and North Korea, and how those people there were protesting not only Obama but some were protesting the Neo Conservatives, and showing their support for Ron Pau, who is a unique candidate who is more open.

Notice how the English newscast was really pro Obama, having 2 seconds of anti Obama sign, and then a 20 second pro obama supporters, while the Spanish station showed some comments of the anti Obama protesters. MSM doesn't want to hurt the image of their golden candidate that they put in the spotlight.
