I know the difference between socialists and libertarians on the topic of globalism, do you?

socialists want world government, or at least, world beaurocracy. they believe that all the governments should work together or band together to create one big ass union

libertarians (theones that aren't really paleocons) believe in world people. just people. free trade and travel...but no expansion of government.

am I right or am I right? ;)

Not exactly.

Socialism is only an economic system. There is no view of globalization included in the definition of socialism.

Sure, maybe most socialists want world government, but that doesn't' mean they all do.
That is like saying republicans are pro-war.

Both the NAU and the NWO will come through governments. Cut the throat of government and let it die.

I think the difference on any subject is the socialist says, "What's good for me is good for you, too," and the libertarian says .

that's the old protectionist twist, eh? twisting of the words...just like they want to twist our economy. That's Chuck Baldwin's philosophy

The GOP is a political party. not the same as a philosophy haha

You're right.

Change the word "republican" with "conservative" and my point still stands.

Or "libertarians are anti-war" which simply isn't always true. Look at Root or Dondero

I have been thinking about this.. (free) trading with different countries are definetly a good thing.. but sometimes agreements and coordination between countries follows from expanded trade, and it might not be all bad.. Say US and China trade lots, but US does not like that China does not respect copyrights.. and China does not like that US subsidises farming products.. Well like arguing children, noone want to give an inch to the other.. because they do not trust the other is playing fair.. well US and China might leave it to a intergovernmental body settle the dispute like WTO. They trust the WTO to be fair more than they trust eachother. So a intergovernmental body that settles disputes like this might not be all bad, even if its a type of world govt.

I think the more countries have to do with eachother in trade, business, and in peoples day to day life.. the more the two countries govt are going to collaborate and merge.

You can see that happen with the EU.. they have a wast free internal market.. different countries trade and interact lots with echother.. the people increasingly travel back and forth as if there where no borders.. it kindof makes sense for their govt also to merge, to remove the headache it means for people to have to deal with multiple law system, tax codes, currencies, border controls formalities.. in their day to day life.

Okay, im just thinking out loud here.. i'm just trying to understand where the size of a country comes from. How come some countries are small and others big. Maybe its a necessity, the more people trade an interact with eachoter, the more they need one and the same govt. In the past language was a big barrier to trade and interaction, so countries where largely the area where everyone talked the same language ( Its hard to barter or trade when you cant speak the same language and agree on a price, its also hard to work for someone that does not speak the same language ). Well now adays the language barrier is no longer such a big barrier as everyone understands english.. so maybe its just natural that people of the world will interact and trade more with eachother and that their govts increasingly merge. Maybe its not all bad.

Cheers

right. there are tons of social conservatives in the democratic party. anti-drug, anti-illegal alien, anti-gay marrage, even pro-life. tons, though, many dems are more moderate on those issues BUT them same dems believe in economic safety nets and government programs, which is why...they're not in the GOP lol

that's why a guy like Dennis Kucinich doesnt do well.
