He needs to have his own TV show.

Hi,

Since one of the interviewers asked what should be done with the prisoners at Guantánamo, I am posting a link to an NPR story which talks about the prisoners and how they got to be where they are:

Habeas Schmabeas
(http://www.thislife.org/Radio_Episode.aspx?episode=331)
The right of habeas corpus has been a part of our country's legal tradition longer than we've actually been a country. It means that our government has to explain why it's holding a person in custody. But now, the War on Terror has nixed many of the rules we used to think of as fundamental. At Guantanamo Bay, our government initially claimed that prisoners should not be covered by habeas—or even by the Geneva Conventions—because they're the most fearsome enemies we have. But is that true? Is it a camp full of terrorists, or a camp full of our mistakes?

Enjoy.

Regards,
Omphfullas Zamboni

PS -- My favorite section:
Act Three. We Interrogate the Detainees.

Although more than 200 prisoners from the U.S. facility at Guantanamo Bay have been released, few of them have ever been interviewed on radio or on television in America. Jack Hitt conducts rare and surprising interviews with two former Guantanamo detainees about life in Guantanamo. (20 minutes)

has anyone noticed Ron Paul is becoming mainstream.

this was a great interview

they were very nice to him, they said the revolution several times, and they were serious..

Your clip starts like, halfway through the interview.

Anyway, Ron was funny. "They won't let me sing." :D

They got their presidential match up (a cultist against a retard), so they think they've won. And, why not add icing to the cake with some nice ratings from Paulheads?

Is it me or Ron is really kinda happy-looking recently? You know, laughing and joking a lot. I've just noticed that in some very recent interviews/meetings. He also sounds much more confident and firm.

Finally, Ron Paul had to INVITE the MSM Media (MSNBC) to the Liberty Conference, great sending the invitation right on the air!

Maybe Ron should do his own Liberty Marketing & Sales, sounds like he knows how.

PS: Accolades to all US RP GrassRoots, sending MSNBC the emails!

My thoughts exactly. I think CFL is a better fit for Ron than "presidential candidate".

He IS much more confident and relaxed, I've noticed that too. It's probably because he no longer has the weight of a presidential campaign on his shoulders. I can't imagine the stress that put him through!

I can't help wondering if membership on the campaignfor liberty site juiced up after that. Did anyone notice?

The job of "president" shouldn't even exist. The main reason I was a RP revolutionary was to shed light on the IDEAS, since the MSM just goes nuts over any election.

Good interview; although they switched subjects REAL quick when Dr. Paul brought up the part about the U.S. having secret prisons all over the world.
