I just caught the tail end of it, but I did notice that the commentators were actually listening to what he had to say and were treating him cordially.

The sob's treating him like a joke when he was running.

I noticed that as well. It was very different than how it was during his run.

In fairness, I never saw Joe Scarborough interview him before. They served in Congress together, so maybe Joe respects Dr. Paul.

Joe respects nothing but prestige and money.

I saw it-- quite by accident since I don't normally watch cable news in the morning.

Ron Paul was talking about our foreign policy, the same speech I've heard him give over and over again only (imo) less articulate than at other times. Then he was asked about the event in Minnesota and he responded that they initially had a venue which held 5k people then had to find a bigger place. He said he expected a lot of people but was being cautious about giving figures. The chick said something about if the emails they get whenever he is on was any indication they would need a much larger place (or something like that). Ron also mentioned that there would be some "big singers" there, Tucker said wherever the Revolution was he would be there, too.

At the end he mentioned the Campaign For Liberty and gave the website.

Did a Ron Paul supporter spike the water cooler at Morning Joe? I've never seen Ron Paul get such cordial treatment from an entire panel of interviewers. After watching that segment I feel like the average viewer would not get the impression that Ron Paul is a "loon" or a "cook" or whatever else they usually try to make him look like. The Revolution felt like a valid political movement from just the tone of the pundits. I think I need to send Morning Joe a nice e-mail saying thank you.

No talk of Russert unless it was right away before this youtube clip started recording the segment.

Ron Paul says the same thing every time he is interviewed no matter who it is. AND THIS IS A GOOD THING.
It is just like when the MSM says Obama/Terrorist or McCain/Bush it is the droning repetitive chant that enslaves the masses and RP knows that.

This was by far one of the better interviews that I have seen him do in a while. They were very generous to him with very little interruptions while he was speaking and they were very attentive. Nice.

Joe seemed a little ignorant when he said

"but there hasnt been a 911 since"

as if he thinks the foreign policy has prevented another 911... proof please?

Can't wait for the fun to begin. Just made my reservations to St. Paul. Cheap Tickets.com has flights from Houston for around $300 right now.

Excellent point, roho. Thanks for giving me a different perspective. I guess I feel like I know all that already and so everyone else should, too (and there are so many other things that I want to hear him talking about). Obviously that's wrong-- I only know what I know because I went digging, not because the news told me.
