The official convention will break Robert's Rules, and we have our own convention, then present the OFFICIAL and LEGAL results to Federal courts. Of course I'm going.

I will be there, but I also think he should give a speech at the Minnesota State Fair which will be the week before. It's one of the largest fair's in the world with 1.8 million attendees each year.

+1

The fair runs through Sept 1st, which is the day the national convention starts. Every major TV, radio, and newspaper has a booth at the fair. I wouldn't be surprised at all if McCain shows up there. Even if Ron Paul doesn't make it to the fair, a day needs to be planned for all the supporters to have a march through the fair grounds. It won't go unnoticed, and we want as much attention on Ron Paul's convention as possible. Besides that, the fair is just a good time, with about 200,000 people in attendance on any given day, good music, good food, and good beer. :D

This recommendation should be sent to the CFL.

Yes I will be at the Williams Arena. Pretty easy for me to say that. We're from MN here... :p

I'll be there even if it means swimming across the big lake to get there! I truly think they are going to need to get the metrodome though. Only 15,000 capacity? Definately not enough.

It could quite possibly be historical. Future generations may look back at it as one of the key moments of the 2nd American Revolution. Be there and be part of history....

You all are very much welcome in MN!!!

Williams Arena is a great location for a rally! Right on the U of M Campus which has ~ 60,000 students and is sooooo close to downtown Minneapolis and fairly close to St. Paul. Look it up on google earth/maps/street view.

Also, it is good that Ron is having a separate rally. The most practical way to change the country is to bring the Republican party back to its roots, 3rd party is just not a realistic choice, now at least. Therefore it would be a huge propaganda victory for the neo-cons if Paul supporters displayed distasteful behavior at the convention, we should NOT associate with the troublemakers at the convention, it would be like pissing in the wind, bad for the Patriot movement/message. It would be prudent to assume that the media will take any opportunity to make Paul look bad in the eyes of Republicans and Americans in general in order to discredit his message. The vast majority of Ron Paul supporters I know are aware of this and have always acted in a courteous, professional, and intelligent manner.

Paul's idea of a separate rally indeed is a great way to show the strength of our movement without alienating the mechanism (Republican Party) we need to restore the Constitution and the Republic (real change). Make sure you inform Paul supporters of this important information if they expect to come to MN this September.

If anyone needs any info about Minneapolis, let me know.

I clicked yes, even though I think it makes a prime target for them "terrist" that hate us for our freedom (the neo-cons). Guess I really am ready to die for our freedom.

I'll be there. Though I really wish they would rent out the Target Center, which is a much bigger venue. Politicians like Obama and Nader have previously had mega-rallies there that went over 10,000 people. I suspect we will easily net more than 11,000 attendees.

When Ron Paul was here February 4th, over 4500 people from MN and surrounding areas showed up.

Going to try. I don't want to fly and we can't drive because that will give us 4 days driving round trip and that's too long for me to be away from the little ones. I'm going to look into train costs. That might be doable!
