Seriously, its a hoot talking to registered republicans down there. I talked to one lady for 10 minutes about how Iraq is a civil war now, and we need to bring our boys home.

70% of calls will just be leaving messages. I leave my home phone number to call me back if they want (show em we are not some paid staff) Remember, be polite and let THEM do the talking. Just let them talk about what they care about, and tell them where Ron Paul stands.

Also remember your calling "involved" Texans. They probably are involved in the GOP in some way for years. So they might not be totally informed, but they care more about "politics" then say the trailer park types who just got a new TV.

So your strategy is great. Let THEM talk. And just sprinkle in where Ron stands on the issues. Great work. Love it. (bump)
