Please state a quote from an event of the campaign. It can be anything from a comment by Ed Failor in Iowa, the former Stripper for Ron Paul, or something Congressman Paul said himself on the campaign trail.

My favorite that still resonates with me came from pretty early in the campaign by Pat Buchanan during Scarborough's show. He remarked in a humorous fashion, "If Ron Paul had raised 22 million, he'd have (by end of quarter) 21.8 million on hand. That's about how he does not like to spend".

This thread has some good nostalgia potential. Keep it going.

Mike Huckabee Jokes About Obama at NRA Convention (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_S76OnHlys)

(Chair sound)

"That was Barack Obama, he just tripped off a chair, he's getting ready to speak and someone aimed a gun at him and he... he dove for the floor."

I laughed my ass off when I heard this on the Jerry Doyle show.

"You're saying we should take our marching orders from al-Qaeda?"

No! I'm saying we should take our marching orders from the Constitution.

'Let me see if I get this straight, we need to borrow 11B dollars from China, and give it to a military dictator, Musharaff, who overthrew an elected government, then we go to war, lose all these lives, promoting Democracy in Iraq. I mean whats going on here?'

One of my favorite quotes is when Congressman Paul pretty much schooled (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opl2m0vMJ0A) the neocons on monetary policy at the CNBC Debate last October. A classic!
