The ideal Republican is a moderate one? That makes no sense. Did I miss something?

Because the media tells us who to vote for.

During the CA recall election, a poll showed that about 75% of voters thought Tom McClintock (a traditional conservative/libertarian much like Ron Paul) thought he'd do a good job as governor, the highest rating of any candidate. Yet, come election time, he only got about 13% of the vote. The reason was because the media said Arnold was THE candidate.

So then polls mean absolutely nothing...we have to just focus on winning over the MSM...

In all honesty guys I buy that analysis. It's basically saying: The most Conservative will like Paul, and those willing to give and take will like Rudy.
