Idaho GOP: Ron Paul Gets Idaho Delegates

Six Ron Paul delegates and six alternates were nominated this morning to attend the national GOP convention in September. The convention is expected to ratify the decision this afternoon. The committee also nominated 17 John McCain delegates and 17 alternatives in addition to six at-large delegates and six alternatives

"We studied this long and hard last night," party Chairman Kirk Sullivan told the Nomination Committee. "I have the firm belief and conviction that in order to be fair we need to nominate and elect delegates for the Ron Paul people."

The committee unanimously agreed without discussion.

"In my view these people have clearly earned the right to go to the national convention," said committee chairman Blake Hall.

I hoped we would see this kind of reaction. Great News, hopefully the remaining states will follow suit.
