People, this is ridiculous. He says on the new site that the presidential campaign is at an end. How could he still be in the race with all the primaries over? This Bizarro World stuff has got to stop. Please.

I love it, it reminds me of when Gravel faked out the media. Not that Paul did that on purpose, but what a great fuckin' speech all the same. I love this guy. Ron Paul is the only hero I've ever known. Fuck spiderman!

Ron Paul was talking about how we need to triple everyone's income tax, outlaw more crops and invade at least seven more countries because they hate us for our freedom.

the CAMPAIGN is only over because there are no primaries left. the RACE is still on! He's still going to the convention. I saw nothing in that speech to suggest he was dropping out, just starting the liberty organization!:)

It could mean that the primaries are over and nothing more.

What words would he have to use that people would stop trying to think he was still running? He is launching a totally new initiative as of today.

Surely you think highly enough of Ron Paul not to think he's deluded enough to think the hacks at the Republican Convention will defy the whole world and nominate him, right?

Deborah K

The St. Paul convention he is putting on only holds 11,000. Good luck getting reservations for hotels at this late date.....

See you at the March!

It holds more than 11,000. But why would you want to be sarcastic about something Ron Paul obviously wants? That's not helpful.

She's being realistic - hotels are booked and have been for a while. They are also charging top dollar - If you can find a vacancy 15 miles from the convention...

Some groups book the hotels four years in advance. You might have to go out fifty miles. I have done that before.

I think camping in Minneapolis will be fun. :D

Try camping in 105 degree August heat in northern Nevada for a week with no showers and filthy porta-potties. This will be quite pleasant in comparison.

I didn't see anything in Ron Paul's speech tonight about quiting.

He is going as solid as Abe Vigoda!

http://www.abevigoda.com/ffb.php

P.S. It may have been there but I didn't see it.

The movement is going strong and it is just to right to be given up by American's like those that founded this great nation. He made me proud of the flag.

He still doesn't sound like a quitter to me.

It sounds like he and this concept, started by the founding fathers, is still going strong.

The primary season is at at end so Ron's announcement of the obvious isn't really news. Will he attend the national GOP convention? Personally, I hope so, but I'm even more encouraged by his determination to carry forward with plans to return the GOP and this country to its constitutional roots. It's now time for Ron Paul Forums and other web sites to transform into an on-line support structure for Ron's vision of the future. Thanks, Ron, for staying in the race for POTUS through the primary season.

With all do respect, you can't be that uptight about showers, can you? I've gone at least 2 months without showering, all you need is deodorant and a toothbrush.

Freedom is immortal.

Even if he dropped out of the election, the concept of freedom is what we need to follow now. Personally I hope he can try to continue guiding us towards making some real changes and getting the slave master puppets out of office.
