Yes, there was a relationship between Saddam and Al Quaeda. So what? He had a bigger relationship with Saudi Arabia, but we didn't go to war with them. The nation we legitimately went to war with (Afghanistan) was the one actively harboring Al Quaeda. But even there we are screwing up the occupation.
