As I was looking out my window a little while ago, I saw someone setting off a nice fireworks display for Memorial Day. It got me thinking that this person was breaking the law . Apparently the government knows best for us that we can't set off fireworks. The nanny state also won't allow restauraunt owners to have a smoking area, or use trans-fat. Soon I won't be able to buy a hamburger, because Big Brother knows whats best for my body. I'm 18 and can be drafted to fight for the government, but I'm not mature enough to buy a beer. I also am to stupid to look out for my own safety because the government has to make sure I have my seat belt on. Simple Liberties have been eroded too far and our most treasured freedoms will continue to dissapear. We really need Ron Paul and people like him in office.
