Yesterday Tim Lambert, former Texas Republican National Committeeman and chairman of the Texas Home School Coalition, criticized Benkiser and expressed disappointment the party is forcing the grassroots to go to court to get the party to follow the law:

And tonight, current Texas Republican National Committeewoman Denise McNamara sent out an email statewide with 3 points: 1) people should interview those that want to be national delegates instead of listening to someone else's slate, and some new people should get to go, 2) the grassroots lawsuit has "a valid point", 3) Ron Paul delegates are not scary, they are "good conservative Texans" and should be welcome at the convention. That email is not yet available online but hopefully will be soon.
Also, Chairman Tina Benkiser is apparently avoiding being served the temporary restraining order issued last week:
