I thought the grassroots might want to check their state for 2008 ballot measures. (In some states, petitions are still circulating to get the measures onto the ballot.)

On May 1, supporters of a recall of Michigan House Speaker Andy Dillon (http://www.ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Andy_Dillon_recall_%282008%29) submitted 15,498 signatures to election authorities, but Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land announced on June 5 that recall proponents didn't collect enough valid signatures (http://www.ballotpedia.org/wiki/index.php?title=Valid_signatures).


Ugh, can't look anymore.

I was very pleased with some, not so pleased with others. (I mentioned a few here in the RPF Arizona thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=141761).)

Why they had two Recall McCain petitions is bewildering. I wonder if it would have passed had there been only one!
