Thanks TFJB. Could you give some more specific detail, as I rarely visit there.

JMO, but the most popular Ron Paul message boards have been taken over by the other side since at least 3-4 months ago.

It is just one opinion article asking questions about strategy. And asking if an Obama presidency would somehow awaken Republicans since they seem to be asleep with a Republican president.

Must be the article by Chuck Baldwin. It's a very good article and he makes excellent points.

Still no reason to vote FOR Obama imo. I'm still taking my vote to a 3rd party candidate if I can't vote for Paul. We don't have to vote against our consciences for Obama to take a vote away from McCain. 3rd party allows us to show the GOP the votes they LOST because they stopped acting like conservatives. That number is important for Republicans to see.

OP = massive over reaction.. I've already shot it down... plus there are heaps of anti-obama stuff now. It was a result of Treg's post.. HIGHLY MISGUIDED. And then the thread got flagged and deleted. (They self mod there..) yeap. Anyway, he then had a tear - and then Mike re-broadcasted the 'issue' on the front page... HIGHLY MISGUIDED / foolish... it's only because it was treg who did it. Otherwise, no qualms.

How'd you like my thread:

Barack Obama is CFR / NWO scum.
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/51311

:D - Anyway, DailyPaul has periods like that - and they pass... all this sensationalism only fuels it. No NEED for it.

Its asking about strategy.

I was viewing it now before I got here. I think voting for Obama is strategically and tactically ridiculous. The Ron Paul Revolution would be better served voting for the Libertarian candidate just to make the MSM gop take serious notice that they scorned us. Voting Obama could simply be shown as democrats voting for their guy. Third party vote however is clear that Ron Paul Republicans were PISSED enough that they are not voting for any of the two.

I liked some of the posts on that thread though. I'm going to Houston so I'm reading some convention tactics that posters are posting. GODDAMNED I LOVE YOU ASSHOLES.

A Libertarian in the debates will do more than voting for Obama.

Hopefully the fact that Omaba is a rabit Anti-American Marxist. I would hope our fellow Ron Paul supporters are not this stupid. I am planning on making up some red Obama 2008 T-Shirts with a yellow, U.S.S.R., hammer and Sickle on them to voice my displeasure at his nomination.

Did you all see both Obama and Clinton pledge allegiance to Israel today at the AIPAC Conference.

Sickening.

Since when is loyalty to a foreign country a prerequisite for being President of THIS country??

I'm no anti-Semite, but this type of fawning has gotten beyond ridiculous.

I know that some pure libertarians don't care for Bob Barr..but Ron Paul likes him! If Ron Paul says he's ok..then he's ok for me too. Ron Paul is my compass..but I don't do everything he says do. I didn't stay in the wicked GOP. Whoever is making those t shirts with the hammer and sickle..I want one! LOL. I shall wear it proudly with a bullet proof vest under it.

Yes , this pandering to AIPAC continues to keep the USA in trouble...why is it so powerful? Ever wondered? I have some video's if you'd like to see why. TONESFORJONESBONES

I could never vote for a warmonger like McCain, but Obama's no prize either. I'm still undecided whether I would vote for Obama if it became necessary to stop McCain from winning. I guess I'm still holding out hope for Paul/Ventura independent ticket or something similar. I'm not big on party politics, but I can understand why Paul chose to run as Republican. The only way to have a chance is to pick a major party. It irritates me to no end, but it's true.

Obama is the farthest candidate from Ron Paul ideologically (not counting green and socialist parties). McCain, Clinton, and Baldwin are a bit closer. But the closest, by far, is Bob Barr.

Just being anti-establishment isn't enough. Please pardon the Reductio ad Hitlerum (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reductio_ad_Hitlerum), but every dictator in the world started out as an anti-establishment underdog and made a lot of empty promises in the process.

Never vote for a candidate whose vision of government puts it above 10% GDP no matter what they promise. A socialist will always promise as much as he can, and deliver as little as he can, when it comes to both services and liberties as well.

Personally I hope McCain is crushed so badly that all Republicans realize that the party needs to be retooled. Reject Neocons and embrace Ron Paul, Goldwater, and Taft conservatives.

I have to agree with the idea that choosing between obama and mccain is like choosing to eat shit or vomit - or to use jesse ventura's cleaner analogy - like choosing between coke and pepsi - one is a little sweeter but they ain't much different at all

Just in case you were under any delusions.. and considering turning your back on the real rEVOLution... Just in case you were considering selling out, and joining the problem, not the solution... Just in case you were considering voting for the continued destruction of the Constitution.. Just in case you were considering ignoring your conscience and voting for evil... Just in case you were considering voting for false hope and baseless rhetoric... Just in case you were considering throwing your vote away... Just in case you were considering voting for more of the SAME at the detriment of ALL our futures.

Seriously, if you WANT to vote for your masters - if you WANT to be a SLAVE.. How about you go ahead and get chipped already? I hear they have early bird rates.

I would like to offer some advice; that I think several people here REALLY need to take.. we are all individuals, we're all unique.. any attempt to sway others into voting for evil - makes you look like a divisive fool, not worthy of being in the rEVOLution. Have some respect, people have made it here - don't try to lead them astray..

"Do not give in to evil but proceed ever more boldly against it."

Voting for Obama, even if apart of some 'retarded strategy' - isn't exactly "proceeding more boldly AGAINST IT". Is it? Put your delusion's aside... THINK for once.

We've all got a candidate, he's still in the race - MEANING: He's still relevant, he's STILL getting news coverage if you haven't noticed. You STILL have an excuse to LEAD people to Ron Paul and mention his name - after the elections are over, our opportunity to WAKE PEOPLE UP is going to lessen, in terms of easy talking points. The revolution, the MOVEMENT is bigger than the campaign - realise that, it's not hard. None of the delusional choices on offer, ever woke anyone up. Give out his book; SPREAD THE MESSAGE because come hell or high water -

FREEDOM IS ON THE MARCH!!!

Oh make no mistake..I will always talk about Ron Paul! Ron Paul will be fighting within the GOP..ironically..he may be the ONLY republican to keep a seat in november..isn't that hilarious? LOL.. I have his book and I read it. I am anxiously waiting to see what comes about with his foundation...if there is a way for me to volunteer..i will proudly do so. If Ron Paul is on the ballot in November for the general..he will get my vote. I doubt it will happen, therefore I will throw my energy to Bob Barr and the Libertairan Party because Bob Barr has the best chance to put a dent in the two major parties. I like Chuck Baldwin...but I am being practical , plus, I like Bob Barr equally as much. I love Ron Paul...he is the one who brought me to my new worldview..he will always be my favorite! Think about this...we have 3 entities that will be working to spread the Revolution now. The Ron Paul Republicans...the Libertarians and the Constitution Party people. This is good..real good!

Yeah, they seemed to conveniently forget that they must pledge allegiance to OUR COUNTRY!!! We better be very careful with whom the sheeple vote for but, one things for sure, we need to be a pain in the ass and hold whoever the next President accountable as hell and not let them breathe not even for 1 minute. We made the same mistake with W, we can't afford to repeat the same mistake again. I don't like people that talk well, I like people that say what's on their mind.

We need Ron Paul to announce he is going to run as an independent as soon as the Republican Convention is over. He needs to then pick a solid running mate (Walter Jones?)...THEN we ALL NEED TO PUSH THE LP AND THE CP TO GET BEHIND THE INDEPENDENT RUN. Chuck Baldwin can be Secretary of State and Bob Barr can be Secretary of Defense....or whatever....

If Ron Paul has the courage (and they haven't threatened to wipe out his entire extended family) to do this, he WILL be President, and our country will be saved.

Otherwise, it doesn't much matter who you vote for. We will be done as a sovereign nation within two years...4 at the most....

LOL McCain is the same as Obama. And Baldwin is closer to Paul than Barr.
