The article stank. The comments were much more valuable. Thanks anyway, Steve.

Loved the comments by "Classic." They REALLY sum up the real McCain. Every Ron Paul supporter should memorize what he said and spread it.

Wow...still trying to attack him. This is great!!! We are clearly a threat and the reaching they are doing is ridiculous. I cannot fathom being able to seriously gripe that the family who is working for him gets less than 1% of campaign funds and Medved thinks this is news. Why is he not comparing it to other campaigns and their staff?(Not even taking to task McCain's abuses of campaign finance law...)

The fact that he is attacking the book means they do not want this message disseminated. So he is trying to get any neocon who might buy the book into thinking how they are lining the Paul family coffers. Real rich....Medved is a whiny baby and has hated us to his own demise of credibility. Hope someone takes him to task on his open lines day. He seems to have a penchant for dropping calls though when things get too rough. I quit listening to him a long time ago!!!!

Does anyone really believe that someone who has been in congress for (now coming) 11 terms, and a doctor while not in congress is really using this as a way to line his pockets? I really doubt Ron Paul needs to cash in, I'm certain that he's got plenty of investments (probably gold and silver) that will see him well through his retirement and probably more than enough to pass down as inheritance to his family.

The real reason Ron Paul is not getting any respect from most of the MSM is because he was the only candidate not playing "kissy kissy face" with AIPAC in Washington, D.C. today. (Well...actually I'm not sure if McCain was there or, not, but he's already got plenty of giant Israel-shaped hickies all over his body...)

That's a shame, Medved is a theocrat (http://www.townhall.com/columnists/MichaelMedved/2008/04/09/americans_are_right_to_resist_an_atheist_as_presid ent) too.

I didn't read the article, because I'm not going to give advertising revenue to a douchebag, but...from what I remember, isn't Ron Paul giving all of the profits to Liberty PAC anyway? If so, Medved is not only malicious but factually incorrect as well.

P.S. When I read the thread title, I was wondering if Medved was the name of some old Soviet newspaper or something. ;)

A theoretical question...If SteveMartin starts a thread, is it automatically moved elsewhere now?
