If so, how often? Only answer yes to radio shows that have a neocon slant, in other words pro preemptive war. There is a purpose to this poll.

I listen to Rush, almost daily in my car. He is basically spot on about spending but is spot off on foreign policy. I listen to Savage probably once a week.

Rush is entertaining enough, but his is dead wrong on civil liberties. He is pro torture, patriot act, etc.

I absolutely do not listen to them. Alex Jones is my main source of news, along with stuff you guys dig up, constant research, some C-SPAN, some MSNBC/CNN (unless they're talking about the usual suspects, I automatically turn it off in that case) and never Fox News. Oh, durr, and blogs.lewrockwell.com, duh.

I don't listen to any of them. I used to, but that ended. Hannity is by far the dumbest though, that man is horribly uneducated.

I started listening to Rush back in 92 and pretty much agreed with everything he said, but after the republicans took control and started screwing up, all I heard out of his hypocritical mouth was "democrats this, and democrats that" I agree with him about democrats, but thats not the point. The point is that when the republicans started spending like democrats, where was Rush then? Suddenly the big spending wasnt so bad now was it? The worst of hypocrites............. well besides hannity.

NONE of those you listed are conservatives. Rush, Hannity, and Beck are all as far from conservative as you can get. You absolutely cannot be conservative and want to cut taxes and cut spending if you support the massive warfare state! WAR IS THE HEALTH OF THE STATE! There is absolutely no way to significantly cut taxes or get rid of the IRS if you don't adopt a non-interventionist foreign policy! RON PAUL is the only conservative in this race!

I don't listen to any of these shows because I have SIRIUS. I'll freely admit to listening to Howard Stern all the time and spending the rest of my time between various rock channels. Although, I am kind of tempted to tune into Hannity now with the mass derision. If for no other reason then to get my ire raised by the MSM.

I listen to them because I like to always listen to people who think differently than I do. I think doing so makes me more of a free-thinker than I used to.

Hannity probably makes me the maddest. Once you can see the light with these guys, you can see how much propaganda they spew, and boy does he spew it. IMO, he's the worst one out there. At least the worst one who gets high ratings.

I drive about 2000 miles/month so I listen to a good bit of talk radio. I listen to pretty much all of them on and off through out the week. Bill Bennett, Neal Boortz, Laura Ingraham, Rush, Hannity, Savage, Medved, & Mike Galagher are the ones I listen to regularly. I agree with a lot of what they say...aside from the foreign policy issues..now that I'm a convert ;) . It's entertainment. Simple as that. All of these pundits realize that too. It's sad, but it's not just about the ideas...its more about ratings.

Listening to their shows was what ispired me to learn more about economics & the Constitution when I started working (and driving a lot...gotta love sales) after college. I credit Boortz to turning me on to libertarian ideas and Rush for getting me interested in conservative ideas. I used to listen to Hannity a lot, but the Teri Schaivo thing annoyed me to all end and haven't been much of a fan since, but still listen to him occasionally.

I stopped listening to Rush when the Iraq war started. His bigotry towards other nationalities became too much.

I only heard of Hannity because he hosted for Rush when Rush was away. I believe this was most prevailent during the cochlear implant saga.

The sad thing is that RP wrote an article in support of Rush back when Rush was having drug problems. I don't think worse of Rush for them, you don't kick a dog when he's down, but some reciprocation would be nice. All the others ran from him:

The one radio show I listen to semi-frequently, only because it's on the way to work is the Opie & Anthony Show. I think Ron Paul should go on that show. They are "conservative" or at least they make a show of hating PC liberals - and I don't doubt Ron Paul being able to go toe to toe with them. If he can manage Colbert, he can manage anyone.

Well at least most of the talk radio is live and better than most of the highly compressed, over bass boxed stepped-on so-called music. :(

Remember folks that they ain't on the air to promote anything but income in their pockets - as it is ENTERTAIMENT talk radio!

Now with that said YES indeed most of these entertainment artists do cross on subjects that concern and cause us to listen. That's why they have such high ratings.

I have found that the CD button is a really cool feature some days and then of course there is the OFF button that lets me self correct after some really tough days of them there self proclaimed award winners just being PLAIN WRONG!

I thank GOD that Ron Paul is there for us - now it is up to us to do the rest!

I have zero respect for Michael Savage, your self esteem must be really low to yell down every person who disgrees with you. I was smiling to myself when he went off at some gay guy on the television and got fired. Like a cowardly little bitch, next day, on the radio, he started apologizing and kissing a lot of gay ass, saying that there is nothing wrong with homosexuals, homosexuals are cool, I myself used to be a homosexual blah blah blah....

I can't listen to any talk radio anymore. They're fixated on anything but what matters, i.e. Ron Paul. Michael Vick? Sure. Big bad evil liberals? Sure, we've never heard that before.

And Bill O'Reilly, don't even get me started on this guy. Here is a guy who says that it is wrong for the government to control our lives, then turns right around and says he is "looking out for me", which is kind of creepy, because he doesn't even know I exist. Blaming everyone for spinning, by ignoring the avalanche known as Ron Paul, he himself is a major spinner.

Oh, and I like Howard Stern too!!!

I really like to hear and read political opinion, even if I don't agree with it, I'm sort of a junkie in that respect, and therefore I listen. Unfortunately, you only get neo-cons on the radio here in Orlando, FL. (Rush, Hannity, Gallagher, O'Reilly, Savage, Boortz). Of that bunch, I find Boortz the most palatable. Rush and Hannity I hate listening to the most, I feel are quite obviously trying to brainwash you. Savage can truly say the worst things. Boortz is at least less obvious.

I used to listen to stern until I had to start paying for it. Hartmann is extremely knowledgeable and dumb and infuriating at the same time. I'll listen to Rush in small doses until he starts going on his rants about how great Bush is. Then I change the channel to NPR until they start annoying me. In the afternoon I listen to Jon and Ken in Los Angeles, they keep their show confined to local politics and bash all the socialists serving in city and state government so I pretty much stay with them for the whole drive.

Hahaha! I know EXACTLY what you mean!!! One would think that a guy as bright as he is could put together the pieces and realize that the same people who are controlling the neocons are controlling the Democrats, but somehow he never does.

Rush lets Walter E. Williams host. If you were listening yesterday you got a treat.

In one segment he said "There are probably only 5 people in congress the founding fathers wouldn't spit on" I hope the Rush audience understands that there are more than 5 "conservatives" in DC.

Nearly every day.

"Know your enemy."

Some of the sub's actually sound very libertarian some times. If I hadn't been at work, many times over the last week or so I've wanted to call in and talk about Ron Paul.

Exactly. They can take on illegal immigration like nobody else anywhere.

And btw...John Zeigler of KFI will be at our breakfast with Ron Paul on the 12th. Not an official endorsement, mind you, but there is much goodwill there.

I admit, I like Rush. I believe Rush is at heart, a Reaganite, and therefore would support Ron Paul if not for having to be a mouthpiece for the Republican party.

I used to like Boortz, unfortunately, he's become almost as big a neo-con as Hannity.

Hannity is just plain annoying.

Savage, unfortunately unavailable in the Charlotte, NC market, is usually good for a laugh.

Rush is OK in small doses.

Hannity is drearily repetitive and unimaginative.

Savage can be interesting when he's not kvetching and/or bellering at the top of his lungs.

Boortz used to be fun, but sucks now that his program has basically become a 3-hour informercial for his screwy "fair tax".

The rest of them pretty much suck out loud.

Talk radio is infested with neocon drivel nowadays. I've given it all a chance but it's all lame. Rush is in general a smart guy and I agree with a lot of what he says, but he's an unwavering neocon on the terror/foreign policy issue. So is Hannity - he is like Rush without any critical thinking skills. Savage and Levin are idiots also. Haven't listened to any others. I didn't include O'Reilly since he's much less neocon on his radio show than he is on Fox News...for some reason.

Me too, but since Howard is on vaction again this week I did listen to and call into Fox Talk on sirius and Patriot on sirius. I told them I want to talk about Ron Paul and they didn't get to my call... odd...

I think it is important to listen to liberal and neo conservative shows to see what you are up against when you talk to ppl influenced by them.

I'd love it if Howard and Bubba would pick up on Ron Paul they would like the message.
