The man is like a prophet. You can give this speech today and it is still just as relevent.

God bless this man and God bless you all.

So...Obama gets the nomination, and instantly we have a two-man war, complete with all kinds of spurious attacks one against the other. Meanwhile, while all the crap comes out, Ron Paul sits patiently in the background, his fierce army of patriots ready to deliver the message to the disgruntled GOP delegates that McCain is NOT their man.

God Bless Ron Paul and America.

I hope you are right...this country is quickly getting on a slippery path that will be hard to turn from. Watching the Hillary/Obama show today I thought of how pissed off Jefferson, Washington, Roosevelt, et all would be if they could see the socialist haphazard leadership this country is being turned over to.

Regarding the original post and the linked youtube video, I've just started reading "The Case for Gold," and only forty pages in I can barely believe it. I can't believe these arguments have been repressed for so long. It's all so obvious and sinister, and yet we let the system continue without much question. Even as we enter yet another massive bust and depression, Ron Paul is called a loon for believing in a return to the gold standard. I had an award winning high school econ teacher and I was one of his top students, but now I'm pissed that he only taught us how the system works, instead of bringing up the basis of the system itself.

I wouldn't say Teddy was a socialist but he certainly was a step in the wrong direction. Terrible foreign policies, trust-busting, and worst of all guaranteeing Wilson won in 1912.

Book version or is it online?

I bet you would have an interesting conversation with that same teacher now! :)
