This post digs deep. In the campaign season it's always been there. Whether it be attractive women supporting a candidate, the "freedom is popular" slogan or testimonials of the founding fathers.

It's not just our movement. But it's there in other political factions as well. The question is do we:

Keep it clean. Support everything with facts and truth.

or

Use propaganda like the rest of them. As if we don't we may fall behind in "captivating" the public.

In World War II we mostly (no, not exclusively) propagandized the truth.

. As opposed to impartially providing information, propaganda in its most basic sense presents information in order to influence its audience. Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or gives loaded messages in order to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented. The desired result is a change of the cognitive narrative of the subject in the target audience to further a political agenda.

Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognitions, and direct behavior to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist.

i dont think we should lie by omission but the rest is ok in my book

What part of the way the MSM has been treating us leads you to believe that lies wouldn't get called out in the press? Especially since we've been sufficiently diligent that they can just claim to be returning the favor.
