The Ohio Freedom Alliance is planning to mail educational packets to all 170 Ohio Republican delegates and alternates for John McCain. These delegates will be attending the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN, September 1 - 4, to elect the Republican presidential nominee. Because Ohio's Republican delegates are "soft," they are not legally bound to vote for McCain, and may change their vote to Paul at this convention ( http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P08/OH-R.phtml ).

The tentative delegate education packet contents will include:

-- A copy of Ron Paul's new book, "The Revolution: A Manifesto"
-- A comparison of McCain's vs. Paul's voting records
-- A comparison of McCain's vs. Paul's largest campaign donors
-- One or more dvds created specially for McCain delegates, from the DVDs For Delegates project:
http://www.dvds4delegates.com/
-- A pocket Constitution
-- A copy of an 8-page Ron Paul newspaper

If we can get the delegates' phone numbers, we plan to follow up these packets with a phone call to each.

If you prefer to donate by check, please email me (kmj.ronpaul@gmail.com) and I will give you mailing info.

I estimate that we'll need approximately $2700, including mailing costs, to fund this project and reach all 170 delegates and alternates. Thanks in advance for your help!

thanks!

Why didn't my donation show up on the Chip-in page?

Thanks,
Eric

Sounds like a plan, it'd make me happy if my home state had some RP delegates.

Great idea! Any other states doing this with soft pledged delegates?
