View Full Version : Which is worse McCain or Obama

Since it appears McCain will be the Republican and Obama will be the Democrat, I was just wondering which you think is worse. I won't ask which you prefer since neither can really be preferred.

Maybe it should be noted that the next president will have a Democratic Party controlled Congress. The House will have dozens more Democrats, and the Senate will be near Fillibuster-proof.

There are five options to vote on: Slightly worse or better, Much scarier than the other, or About the same or equally the same.

NOTE: Even though the last option says "Barack Obama is Much Worse Than John McCain", it should say "Barack Obama is Much More Scary Than McCain."

I think McCain is worse. He's a lunatic.

McCain is a lunatic. I can't stand him. BUT, people won't fight him on his decisions. If Obama wins, all the crap he wants to do will be fought tooth and nail by conservative groups. McCain, oth, will skate by just like Bush has. Remember, it's considered patriotic to question the President when he's a dem and unpatriotic to question when he's repub.

John McCain is essentially a sociopath... Obama is a normal human being with a conscience.

That does NOT mean that I believe Obama cannot make a HUGE mess out of things, but that I believe McCain is mentally unstable (BTW a phrase used by my local GOP chairman to describe him) and is therefore unfit for the office, representing a worse danger to humanity at large than even Bush/Cheney.

They are both scary. I end my thought process there.

John McCain doesn't even know the difference between Sunni and Shia, yet he thinks Obama will suddenly support the Iraq War by going to Iraq. Gosh! Does that mean I need to go to Iraq to support the war? Do we all need to go to Iraq? Is that the problem? If only I had known, I could have voted differently.

They are equally offensive to me. In fact, based solely on their positions, I have a hard time telling them apart.

They're both scary. But I won't reward the GOP with an "No Obama!" vote.

I like Obama better simply for the sake that if he wins, John McCain's vision for the GOP(a launch pad to the presidency, sacrificing its values) is destroyed.

Truly though, both are hypocrites.

Same thing I thought during Gore vs. Bush, Kerry vs. Bush and now.

Never thought I'd find a candidate I was thrilled with. Hopefully I'll feel that way about another candidate again someday.

times are so now that a Ron Paul / Jesse Ventura ticket would win,,,if only they would do it, I truely beleive they would win. come on Obama and Mcncheece.....Barr will not win and neither would Nadar or baldwin,,,come on Ron and Jesse never will such an opportunity as this for a third party to win , which would help the Libertarian Party and Constitution Party to also be a winable choice in the future

Look, technically - you WANT the worst atm. Which is worse McCain or Obama? <-- check your premises, what connotates "Worst"?

The quickest way to bring down a dictator, is to make them look like one. Enter McCain. Obama has his rhetoric, which is "The ability to rule the minds of men" - Plato.

He isn't going to lose that ability any time soon.

I think McCain is dangerously fruit loop, I think he also is a good representative of the existing republican party. They're just as demented as he is.

I agree with this. McBush is crazier than a barrel of meth addict monkeys. Obomba is a well-meaning deluded dipshit who will be a sock-puppet for his CFR masters. McBush probably has sex fantasies that involve vaporizing half the planet.

Also the GOP needs to have a stake driven through its heart as payback for the way they shat on Paul.

Clinton vs. Dole, Bush vs. Clinton, Bush vs. Dukakis, yada, yada, yada ............ :p

And the Congress is even worse!

And some folks just can't seem to understand nor figure out why I don't vote.

I think this is a Freudian slip. Clearly, this reflects my own bias. I think John McCain is much more scary than Barack Obama. But you're right, the last option should say "Barack Obama is Much More Scary then McCain.

However, as I point out, Obama will have a friendly Democrat-controlled Congress. In this sense, McCain might be a better option. Gridlock in Washington is always a libertarian victory.

you can do that comparison between any two evil people. It always goes to the lesser of two evils issue. They both will be bad for America BUT at least with Obama we will end up broke HERE in America versus with Mccains take over the world plan.

I would AT LEAST hope we are able to go broke by socialism that obama would introduce versuse mccains expanding efforts to kill everyone outside of the u.s.

Either way, we need to continue educating Americans so our next Presidential election will not leave us having polls such as this as though either is a real choice.

Ron Paul for President (-;

The main thing that turned me off on him was that his political campaign advisor was Zbigniew Brzezenski, a prominent member of the Trilateral Commission. But McCain I can't stand just because the only thing he is using to promote his campaign is that he was a tortured POW, questionable, and that he is a man of faith. This country is quickly waking up to the reality of things and eventually the faith crap isn't going to cut it anymore in any political run. Put it in perspective, 100% of the bad presidents were used faith to advance their campaigns, it's how nominees work. They believe they can connect with the American people just because they believe in the same God. Thats like saying "Hey, I breathe too, what a coincidence! How about letting me run your country?" He also calls his wife a cuntbag in front of dozens of reporters and openly disrespects everyone he sets his eyes on. If he can't respect Americans then I don't believe he can respect the country enough the run it.

Therefore, even though I hate McCain a lot worse than Obama, I believe that Obama's affiliation with Zbigniew would do a lot more damage to the country than McCain's psychosis.

Pre-meditated Hidden Agenda or Craziness?

CFR, NAFTA, GLOBALISM, Trilateral Commission, Socialism or Craziness

But You decide:

Obama is much much MUCH scarier than McCain.

I say physically kill McCain just because he poses a threat to the country. (of course I'm kidding) But def give em' hell at the RNC in September.:D

Personally I'm petrified of Obama. I am so afraid of the carbon tax and interferences with my health, my family's health, my kids, our choice to home school... I really am much more fearful of Big Brother on Obama's watch than McCain's. Nobody really trusts McCain anyway. Obama has throngs and hordes of worshipers who will be poppin and lockin their way into the New World Order.
