THis is reposted from a Myspace ad in Nashville.
I now realize this should be in Hot Topics.
so some b.s. organization is spending millions currently to advertise on t.v. ads that encourage people to call their congressmen and women to encourage them to support keeping troops in iraq. they say something along the lines of "tell your congress to not support SURRENDER". personally, i think all the money being spent on these ads should be donated to soliders and their families. i called their toll free number and was like "yo, so is this the line to support more funding to soldier's families???" let's culture jam it! regardless of what you believe about our presence or lack thereof, i don't think this kind of hack editorialism should be allowed to be bought and paid for in local outlets. i mean... it's kind of sad that this has to be sorted out on advertisements. call and give them a piece of your mind if you're inclined: 877 222 8001 while you're at it, email channel five and tell them they're boners for taking money for ads like that! webmasters@newschannel5.com
