russo would have been very valuable to this campaign if he was healthy....

i wouldnt be surprised if Nick Rockefeller had slipped him a cancer causing mickey.

The guy who created America: From Freedom to fascism? He was an influential person, how'd he die? I didn't think he was too old.

Was he having problems, or was it just a sudden thing?

Thanks for the info... sad to see him go.

I'm sorry to hear that. I was hoping he would get well enough to become more active in film and politics again.

May he rest in peace...and liberty.

Where did you learn of this mdh? I haven't been able to find it in the news yet, except for his wikipedia page.

Way before his time. Bless bless Mr. Russo. Rest in liberty indeed.

He was a good man, fighting the good fight. Freedom to fascism taught me about the terrible history of the federal reserve and why it should have never been created. When we write the history books 50 years from now about when Ron Paul won the election, we must not forget to include this very important man who turned many people on to Ron Paul's message.

i submitted the news to digg, although I don't think it'll get that much exposure(how may people search for Aaron Russo on a daily basis). Tried to pitch a little bit of Ron Paul in the description

He had cancer, right? Sorry to hear of his passing. I hope Infowars will soldier on.

Oh wait, that's Alex Jones who has cancer? I am way confused now...

I will forever remember him for introducing me to Ron Paul.

For those who were not aware, Aaron Russo has been battling cancer for quite a while now. In May of 2007, he stepped aside as leader of Restore the Republic due to health problems resulting from cancer.

beermotor, Aaron Russo wasn't involved with infowars, infowars is Alex Jones. Aaron Russo was the producer/creator/interviewer of the film America: Freedom to Fascism among others (he was a hollywood producer and produced several mainstream films as well as his political stuff). Aaron also ran for the Libertarian Party presidential nomination in 2004, in the end endorsing Michael Badnarik over Gary Nolan. Michael won the nomination that year.

Good guy. It's a shame that he had to leave so soon.

Aaron Russo Has already done more for Ron Paul's campaign than anyone except for Ron Paul himself and even after his sad passing his movie and his other works will be valuable tools for all of us to continue our fight to save this country.

I don't have many heros. Ron Paul, Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Russo are among them.

God bless his soul. Rest in peace Aaron. I miss you and I have tears in my eyes as I write this. A great manand a great American patriot is gone from this earth, but not our hearts, our minds or our flames.
