The Meridian is located in a prime section of downtown, just across from the convention center. Divided into three areas, Meridian's main warehouse-style room houses the stage, capacity for close to 1,000, and a stellar sound system. A smaller lounge, known as the Red Room, exudes Middle Eastern charm with curtained divans, pillows and dim lighting. The smaller VIP room is cozy for conversation. Pool tables and video games help pass time between bands.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Lucky they don't have anything in the June 13th slot or I wouldn't just be panicking right about..... NOW...
The fact they spelt his name wrong also gives me hope :)

Check out the radio ads...

Much more is being added to this page tonight, but for now you can hear the radio ad for Houston. Notice how we're trying to get Obama people along through the clever word usage in the ad. Hope. Change. :)

Guess what: I live half a block from Meridian.

I always park by the Meridian when I go to Rockets' games (It's free and about 6 blocks away.) Unfortunately, though, the concert will conflict with the Ron Paul Ice Cream Social and RLC Meet and Greet. If I get out of those at a reasonable time, I might make it over to it.

The ice cream social is on Thursday night-- this is on Friday night.

I think when you're leaving the George R Brown to go to the Meridian it will be a shorter walk then to go to the other side of the convention center.

Of course I'll be there.... :)

I'm wrong, you're right. It does conflict with the Texas RLC Convention, though. (Friday at 8:00 til ?) I announced the Tour at the Jefferson County meeting last night, and I will announce at the Harris/CD2 Meeting tonight. I'll probably go after I'm out.

If you're free today and can lend us a hand, come over to the meridian after 4pm and ask for Israel. The Meridian is 2 min walk from the Hilton.
