I know there are alot of freedom this and fests that around here. But this one seems like one that brings in big names and is organized well.

This is off the front page
FreedomFest is an annual festival described in many ways: The world’s largest gathering of free minds…..The Trade Show for Liberty….An intellectual feast in a fun town…Three glorious days of “great ideas, great books, and great thinkers.”

FreedomFest invites the "best and the brightest" from around the world to talk, strategize, socialize, and celebrate liberty and we want you to join us.

The site is showing Dr. Paul as a keynote speaker. Many others Steve Forbes, Christopher Hitchens.

I have no stake in this, I just found it today. It look like a good time to me.

If I recall, I remeber Ron Paul in a video calling Christopher Hitchens a neconservative. I also remember Ron Paul arguing against Dinesh D'Souza. Would be weird if Hichens and Souza take the same position when they have had long histroy debating(in an unrelated manner) over the existence of God.

Wow. This is a packed lineup. Now I'm torn between the march and vegas.

I SOOO wanted to go to this, but its pretty expensive and overlaps with the march. Maybe next year. :(

But it looks like Ron Paul will only be speaking to the conference via the web on Saturday (i.e., he won't be there in person). This is from the detailed agenda:
2:30pm – 3:20pm
□ Platinum Ron Paul (R-TX) Republican Presidential Candidate
Live Interview from Washington DC
Via BroadBand

So that implies he's going to be in DC for the March. I wish he'd post that on the campaign web site if its definite.
