I have no idea, but I'm sick of getting shit in the mail from him. If I ever see him, I'll gleefully tell him to fuck off, "Ron Paul Republican" or otherwise.

Edit: oh, never mind, I thought this was in reference to the "independent" Steve Francis.

Honesty's a start.

Here's his site. (I think)

There's an interesting video near the bottom. Audio's off.

He doesn't seem to be an RP guy. But like I said, honesty is a start.

San Diego Mayoral Race...Is this one of OURS?

Can't tell at this time. The usually MSM keywords are there ("fringe", "revolutionary", and "darkhorse") but the article doesn't give enough of his political views for us to know.

The guy comes off as more intelligent than he looks, if you look his name up on YouTube. Unfortunately I'm not sure where he stands on any issues of substance...it seems like he just bashes the other candidates for being deceptive and phonies. (Which isn't bad, but it doesn't make him a good candidate himself)

I don't know Eric Bidwell, but the San Diego mayoral race is typically chalk full of slimeball career politicians, outright socialists, socialists who call themselves republicans, candidates on the take, and glorified bureaucrats.

I'm convinced that anyone who would run for mayor is on a major power trip and cannot be trusted.

I love my city but I hate its government. Sound familiar?

I just found out about Bidwell.

He claims to be an anarchist but supports collectivism and therefore taxation to fund many city programs.

I do remember meeting him at a Ron Paul meetup a while back. Not sure if he was a RP supporter or not, but his positions certainly don't sound much like Ron Paul's (i.e. he's okay with using our tax money for a new library).

Mayoral elections are even worse than presidential elections! The scumbags running for mayor in our city want to steal our money one way or another to support boondoggles and help their friends out.

I think we need to overthrow the very position of mayor and let people run their own lives.
