The Revolution: A Manifesto will stay at #5 (http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/021246.html) on the list for June 8, which is where it was on the June 1 list. That makes five weeks on the list!

Does anyone actually know the approximate number of books that have been sold so far?

I was really hoping to see more interviews/media appearences relating to this...maybe Ron Paul has turned them down? I can't imagine the publisher is as ineffectual as the official campaign hq when it comes to this.

They can only pitch it so much. If a show doesn't want to have him on, or feel like they've already heard what he has to say, there's nothing the publisher can do about it.

Let's make it 6 and 7 weeks (and even more) by continuing the project to get the book to delegates going to the national convention.

Does your family have a copy- at least one per household?
Do your friends have copies?
Do your co-workers have copies?

There are roughly 100 million poeple who need to read this book.

I received three copies from Amazon today. Those will go out to family tomorrow so I'll be buying more. I have one on order at my local Hastings too but it's been on backorder for two weeks. Went in today and they said they still don't know when it will arrive

My 1 per two-week copy from Amazon arrives today. This one is going to the Niceville Library.

The copy I donated to a tiny local library two days ago has already been checked out for the first time. You can use WorldCat to find The Revolution: A Manifesto in libraries near you (http://www.worldcat.org/search?qt=worldcat_org_bks&q=9780446537513) so you know where to donate first.

Those of you purchasing single copies to send to friends, Walmart.com has the best single-copy price of about $13.80 shipped. Amazon has the best two-copy price ($12.60 per book shipped) and Tower Books and Buy.com will send you three or more copies for about $11.32 per book. Where to buy The Revolution: A Manifesto. Hi, This is my first post although I've been "lurking" for about a year now. I've purchased 12 copies total and have handed them out with a personal message. I've asked everyone to pass the book and the message on and to sign the back page with the date they joined the Revolution. We in Pa are still passionate and motivated. We're having a picnic this Sunday at Ricketts Glen State Park and it sounds like it will be well attended from around this part of the state. Also, we're meeting in Harrisburg on 6/14 to discuss continuing the message and where we go from here. On a side note, took a trip to my local Borders when the book was #1. My husband and I were looking at the bestsellers on display and of course no RP. I said loud enough for the clerk lurking nearby "Well, maybe it sold out." She then asked what I was looking for, I told her and she got "the look" and said let me get "our Ron Paul guy." (gee, he has his own guy!!) He was someone I knew from a neighboring meetup. Good news only one left out of 300, he explained that Borders bestsellers are based on an "internal" polling, hence why it wasn't on the front display.

But you will be extremely satisfied by the way he says it. He answers his critics smashingly.

And you'll actually read a lot of new stuff that has been in none of his speeches.

Like I keep telling people, in the book he ties up all the loose ends. He gets to finish all the points that they wouldn't let him finish during interviews and debates. It's beautiful.

My wife gave our last copy to a co-worker today and he said he has friends who would be interested in reading it. So far I've bought 9 copies. Time to buy more.

How many books does it have to sell in a given week to reach the number 1 spot?

Preferablly w/o resorting to Bulk Orders.

It has to vary according to how other books are doing; if some blockbuster appears, there's no way you'll hit #1. If the week is right, though, you might be able to hit #1 with as few as 20,000 sold. That's nonfiction; a fiction #1 seller would require far more in sales.
