$1 a gallon is the Real Price of gas! - Please educate some people!
Check out the video it is a huge eye opener on how the Federal reserve has really Fucked US!!
I don't see how anyone regardless of political party can argue with this one!
it really demonstrates in CURRENT EVENTS (GAS PRICES) how the the federal reserve is screwing us and the devaluation of the dollar!

why does the title of the video say "$1 a gallon for gas" when the video itself says gas is 25 cents a gallon?

That would imply that a FRN is around $.25. I ain't buying it. It's closer to around $.04 maybe, BEFORE this current "thin air" hyper-fabrication effort by the Fed banksters.

Recalculate using gold please. How much oil will an ounce of gold buy?

The 25 cents is used not in relation to 1913, but in relation to silver quarters in the 1960's (perhaps b/c some viewers may actually remember gas being about 25 cents in the 1960's).

A dollar is a dollar. ( 1/20 oz. gold )

A FRN is not.

I even personally remember $.18/gallon, during the then frequent retail gas price wars. ;)

The prices are also being driven up by the stockmarket "speculating" and the guesswork of peak oil, etc. it's not only by the FED inflation, although they are also a bunch of corrupt evil bastards, and are playing a part in it, yes.

I have heard the exact opposite, that in the free market gas would be much more expensive without all the subsidies in place such as military protection of oil sources.

what was $1 in 1900 would cost you about $25 in today's terms, so $4.00 gas, would really be $0.16, since we've had 2,500% in terms of inflation

of course, you'd make a lot less too; your real income would likely be under $10,000 a year....but each dollar you have will have WAY WAY more purchasing power (those "$1" menu items at McDonalds? Try 4 cent items on for size!), and any increase in your salary will reflect a true increase of pay (and thus purchasing power), and not simply a raise every now and then that's not enough to keep up with inflation (after all, real wages have been declining and inflation is out of control, thus all classes, except the elite, and those who are padded from inflation, are getting wiped out).

it takes a bit to get used to thinking in those terms, but, in the end, it's be VASTLY better.

That should just tell you that Silver is a little undervalued then and perhaps you should go get yourself some. :)

dont forget that only 60% of the price of gasoline is what it cost to buy the crude, and refine it.
