That was great, right up until he implied that the mainstream left is any more informed than the mainstream right

yeah good point. that's the only thing he said i didn't agree with.

it's crazy how much of a stranglehold the media has on people. i remember trying to convince my one roomate that ron paul was a good candidate and he just started repeating things i heard various pundits say (he's a racist, he's an isolationist, he a cook/loon). i gave up trying to convince him after awhile. it's kinda hard to explain to someone that they are being brainwashed i guess.

From a man who made a career out of convincing judges to legislate from the bench.

The truth sounds good no matter who is espousing it.

Hitler told grains of truth at times too. I still wouldn't cite him. And I wouldn't cite anyone who advocates legislation from the bench which is as anti-thetic to the Constitution as it can get aside from an Enabling Act. Hitler was also a staunch environmentalist but not even the most hardcore goosestepping enviroNAZI cites him as a source.

Wrong: Truth sounds egregious coming from a hypocrite. There are far more credible sources.

The Dems are just pissed because they thought that they held the MONOPOLY contract on destroying the Constitution. They never have liked competition.

Cheer up Bobby Jr., the Neocons originate from the left too, just like your folks.

Socialist/Fascist mox nix. :p

What's worse is that he considers anyone who even questions the idea of man-made global warming to be a fascist and a criminal.

So he's got that going for him in the credibility department.

I wouldn't get too wrapped up on the source if the information is solid.

A lot of people quote the founding fathers when they talk of freedom, even though many of them owned slaves.

I think the important thing is that SOME people read his stuff. And anybody who does read it and finds their way into our camp, that's a POSTIVE for us. This movement crosses a lot of party/ideological lines. There's a whole bunch of people out there who haven't taken the time to get more information about Ron Paul. Any coverage that exposes more people is good, IMO.

Don't know about the mainstream left (I suspect ignorance), but I know that we are much much better informed than the mainstream "right"--and with Faux it's main source of "information" that this isn't very hard.

Was trying to find the RFK campaign thread, and found countless super based posts about RFK Jr over the years.
