Let me start by saying I really like this forum, and I'm not planning on going anywhere, and I really hope that the issues with the categories gets squared away soon so we can get back to coming up with more great ideas and putting them into action.

In the event that anything should happen to this forum, be it a server crash or mutiny, I have created a back up forum at:
http://forum.ronpaulmosaic.com/
that everyone is welcome to use.

It only has 4 forum sections currently and is using the 'big pile' organizational method.

If the backup forum becomes active, then I'll consider getting a shorter domain name for it, but for now I'm just tagging it off of one of my existing names. It can also be accessed at:
http://ronpaulmosaic.com/forum should that be easier for you.

Though I've been painted the bad guy in all of this, let me say one thing, EB.

Thank you for all that you've done. I'm actually kind of jealous that I can't be in the states to do all the fun stuff everyone else gets to do.

But you've done so much for the campaign. For that, I thank you.

I don't think you're a bad guy, but I think you've gone in the wrong direction. I don't really think you deserve to be called names, but at the same time, I can understand why folks get/got upset. I think this is, or could be, a learning process for all involved.

We all need to learn how to interact with each other better, but we all need to remember that we cannot singly or collectively control each other. And that is a species survival mechanism: it takes "all kinds" ...

If you believe in that sort of thing, I like the quote from Dune: "We Fremen have a saying: God created Arrakis to train the faithful. One cannot go against the will of God."

Hey Foo,
I have nothing against you either and I never hold a grudge longer than 24 hours even if I did, so no worries.
If you could do me one favor tho, and move my http://DontVote4.us project out of the dead forum: Tech, Web & Programmers Projects over to General Politics.
It is a web project, but the project deals with general politics and is trying to gather all the dirt on the other candidates into a central website.
I'll probably be doing more updates to the site later today after some running around I have to take care of.

Thanks,
eb

Razmear- I moved it as requested, it can go where you want with a sticky or not. One important aspect of our forum guidelines is the following: "The forum guidelines have a sliding scale of tolerance based on the long established credibility of the user." Source:
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=22

This basically means that the best Ron Paul supporters (such as yourself) get huge flexibility while new trolls get little tolerance.

Thanks Bryan!
No sticky is needed, if it fades away then thats fine, I just wanted it to have a chance to be seen.

No problem- Foo didn't get all the info on what was going on (partly my fault)- I've wanted the Tech / Web sub-forum killed for some time so would never move anything there.

I've pointed one of my shorter unused domain names to the forum site:
http://sclp.us
Bonus points to anyone who can come up with an acronym for sclp.us that makes sense for the forum site. :D
Either way it's a shorter link.

yeah, its a tough one, it was going to be for the South Carolina Libertarian Party but they decided to stick with their existing domain name.
http://aclp.us is another one of my sites for the Anderson County LP, it a bit on the low tech side and hasn't been updated since the 2006 cycle.
