I finished Ron Paul's book this weekend up on Cape Cod! I loved it. I was so pleased to see my Cousin, James Comey, mentioned on page 114 regarding the his stand against the Surveillance program. That took a lot for him to stand up against the President of the United States as acting Attorney General. I am going to send a copy to my Aunt and Uncle. Jim's entire family was so proud of him during his testimony and his entire service to the United States of America. America was lucky to have such a man working on their behalf.
I also was delighted to see a letter to the editor in the Cape Cod Times regarding the importance of Ron Paul's message to all Americans.
That's cool, good for him.
But he now works for Lockheed Martin? eww :[

From wikipedia: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Comey)
In early January 2006, the New York Times, as part of their investigation into alleged domestic surveillance by the National Security Agency, reported that Comey, who was Acting Attorney General during the March 2004 surgical hospitalization of John Ashcroft, refused to "certify" the legality of central aspects of the NSA program at that time. The certification was required under existing White House procedures to continue the program. After Comey's refusal, the newspaper reported, Andrew H. Card Jr., White House Chief of Staff, and Alberto R. Gonzales, then White House counsel and former Attorney General, made an emergency visit to the George Washington University Hospital [3], to attempt to win approval directly from Ashcroft for the program [4]. Comey confirmed these events took place (but declined to confirm the specific program) in testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee on 16 May 2007.[4][5][6][7][8][9]
That's awesome. Unfortunately the illegal NSA wiretapping is still happening :( At least its out in the open now though and maybe its Constitutionality can be challenged.
