The march is going to be great because I expect to be able to meet and plan with many of the top leaders of the movement including Ron Paul.

Many of the top thinkers in economics and foreign policy will be there as well.

It will be the educational opportunity of a lifetime.

Plus I will be able to visit the National Archives which now has the Magna Carta, Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights on display.

Right next to the Capitol is the Library of Congress

Since Thomas Jefferson founded the library, part of his personal collection of books are there.

These are worth seeing in person.

Creating the United States Exhibit. http://myloc.gov/exhibitions/creatingtheus/Pages/default.aspx

1. Creating the Constitution.

2. Creating the Bill of Rights

3. Creating the Declaration of Independence.

I would plan to stay a week if at all possible. I have only scratched the surfaced.

Thanks to all those who have given money to make this happen. I know Ron Paul appreciates it.

I'm looking forward to seeing DC again. Such irony -- a treasure trove of monuments to freedom, in the midst of a monstrosity dedicated to suppressing it.

They have tours, you'd have to check about hours and reservations

Tears to my eyes.

Toa-ho beautiful forspacious skies,
For amber waves of gain
For purple mountains majesty
Above the fruited plain.
America, America, God(s) shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good
With brotherhood
From sea to shining sea
Hey-yo.

All the government museums are free.

That includes the History Museum, Air and Space, Art Museum and Natural History.

The Art Museum has an underground area with cafeteria and a waterfall.

You have to get a tour through your representative. It is probably too late.

Welcome to the forum :)

The Jefferson Building (http://www.loc.gov/jefftour/) is the main Library of Congress building and sits east of the Capitol and south of the Supreme Court

The National Archives (http://www.archives.gov/dc-metro/washington/) is where the founding documents are and that is just north of The Mall, between 7th and 9th Sts.

This interactive 3D map (http://www.dcpages.com/Tourism/Maps/Washington_DC_Map/)has most of the places of interest around the mall, (not the archives though)

Lots to see and do
