I mean not counting the Beltway news media people... I've really only met ONE McCain supporter (and he was actually a Rudy supporter who switched when Rudy dropped).

I know a lot of McCain-sycophants, party hacks who are sucking up because they either have to or want to for their careers' sake -- but that's not the same as a "supporter."

Seriously, the only reason McCain supporters would be here, assuming there are any, is to cause trouble. People who believe in McCain certainly don't believe any of the things we do.

It isn't candidates supporters that are not welcome, it is the ideals and stances on issues of their CANDIDATE that I do not welcome.

With liberty patriots being split in their support between the Constitution Party, Libertarian Party and the Republicans who are for Ron Paul, the Democrats stand a good chance to win. McCain and his type who would rather see $4 and $5 a gallon gasoline than to open up our domestic oil resources will take the deserved blaim for all our present problems. The Republicans will lose so bad that the Ron Paul supporters will gain control of the party. The blaim will naturally go to the Democrats for future elections. Too bad we can't get united behind a good man for President before going through what is to come. If Ron Paul could succeed in his Republican bid, we could unite behind him. Can we properly express the national outrage against McCain for his stand against going after the oil that we are known to have that would make up independent of foreign price increases.

LOL at all of the answers. The short answer is this sub forum is for people who's candidate of choice had already dropped out and were trying to decide on someone else. McCain is certainly no worse than Rudy Giuliani...but then again he's no better either. Had McCain dropped out when he should have (now he's breaking his own campaign finance laws) we'd be welcoming McCain supporters too.

There are people voting for McCain who have only one reason for doing so: Gotta keep the democrats out of office. Some of these people still may have not heard of Ron Paul.

Maybe they can be won over.

I think we need the support of everyone we can get.

I'm really excited to hear that Hillary is being really stubborn about dropping out. The more slices the pie is carved into, the better the chances are for Ron Paul. I would LOVE to see a 4 or 5-way election for a change.

They can GET their (hated) black candidate because he is NO different than McCain, and maybe then they will see what a mistake they made. Whoever heads the GOP is NO doubt a CFR or TC member with no one's agenda foremost than their own. Local GOP does not realize this. I maintain. Hillery, Barack and John..ALL THE SAME..

It kills me that, now that Barack is the "presumptive" nominee, all the papers are running lines like "making history as the first black presidential candidate," "breaking the glass ceiling," on and on.
