Uh no. Youtube corporate partners can restrict access to their videos by country for their own reasons. For example, the BBC restricts their youtube videos to British viewers because they pay a tax that goes to the BBC in exchange for free access.

Al-qaeda videos are the ones Lieberman was pushing to have banned.

False. There was a story today about Joe Lieberman getting angry at youtube because he wanted Islamist propoganda videos pulled from YouTube but YouTube refused in the interest of free speech.

Bobby Jindal, the Republican Governor of Louisiana, is being interviewed by Jay Leno. He is currently the youngest Governor in the country, the first Indian-American Governor and the First non-white Governor of Louisiana. Here Leno asks Bobby about his plans regarding reconstruction after Hurricanes Katrine as well as possible vice presidential running mate nomination with John McCain.

I believe this is the video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5048049578496240340&q=v=8uup3EOBCUk

Wouldnt it make sense, if they are to ban videos, to ban the terrorist videos in countries where terrorists actually are?

This is BS. Blatant censorship.

They're not doing that. They're doing this for partners who want to localize content.

We no longer live in a free society. This is complete bullshit. What the hells this guy gonna' do next? Claim that the RP Forums are 'bad for the general public?' And then what? Are all ISP's going to go and ban the viewing of the RP Forums? What the hell? Freedom of speech is lost. So what if it shows Al Qaeda whooping the US? What, are we no longer able to get the other side of the story much? This guy can go to hell.
