This is a leaked document that proves fraud by the Hawaii GOP.

Please help get this document into EVERY media outlet in-box in the country, get it to your Meetup members and have them mail the media too.

Can the OP summarize in the first post (edit) why this is relevant? Posting a 19 page pdf and assuming people will read it is asking for too much if you really want people to read it and if this is really that important you need to understand human behavior and that people are not going to be tempted to spend the time necessary unless you give them a hook.

Next time you want to stage a work imitating "democracy," you can use this. You will have to come up with your own actors and costumes. ...now everyone else puleeeeze circulate this to the max!!! us acquiring the script is one thing...yet it needs to be blasted!!! there were some very sincere, true, long time conservatives at the convention that were livid w/what transpired...now if everyone knows the *choreography* that was utilized...it's a whole new story!!

Regardless,
we didn't get any delegates for the bottom line: WE DIDN'T HAVE THE
NUMBERS! We could argue that we did previously, but folks decided to stand
down for whatever reasons. Was it scummy that they did what they did?
Yeah. Does it matter? NO! Because people backed out and we lost the
numbers.Did we get to see them enter numbers into the computer? NO!
Does it matter? NO! Why? Cause WE DIDN'T HAVE THE NUMBERS! It sucks? Yes
it does. Watch RP's video when everyone decided to drop out. Watch it
again and listen to what he says about the 'hard core'. We needed
numbers, and folks chose to drop out prior to the convention. Do I
blame them? No, not really, maybe, but I remember a bunch of "I'm in
it til the end!". ReallY? Could have been helpful this past
weekend.In any case, what happened this weekend was a sham, but don't
be discouraged. If anything, it only makes the fight to change things
stronger. Put Up or SHUT UP!



agreed. The other thing we missed out on was catering to people who
were disinterested in McCain. I met a couple of former Romney supporters
that did not want to vote for McCain, but had no choice (because the GOP
couldn't get the final delegate list up on the screen and when they did it was
too small, and the McCain people had handed everyone who walked in the door a
McCain cheatsheet -- it was easier to just drop that in the ballot box.)
Woulda, coulda, shoulda, eh? I hope this doesn't kill the new surge in GOP
members; the party needs it.

I understand what you're saying. But I'm not condemning or
belittling those who dropped out, just voicing my frustration at the fact
of the loss. Besides the Ron Paul Meetup group numbers, we all knew
other people who weren't on the meetup group that supported Paul.
Myself included, I had 17 other people not signed up that were
'interested' but in the end dropped out. (Of course, we're having
'discussion' now :) Our total numbers would have been much
bigger than 200+. I understand the passion, but I won't resort to
calling those who dropped out 'posers' simply due to loss of faith
(and that RP video didn't help either). If anything, let this be a
lesson not to be repeated. This whole process was quite a learning
experience for me (and ongoing) and I'm honored to know all those in the
meetup group regardless if they showed up or not (frustrated, but still
:). Onward, forward, if we even have that chance.

PS - Thanks to all those who put in blood sweat and tears on the Platform
Committee. Although it didn't work out, I appreciate the dedication
of those who were involved. From what I understand, it was a lot of
work and I thank you folks.



In any case, what it show us is that we need the positions of power inside the GOP. We have all learned much about the challenges of politics (we should have given everyone our list instead of keeping it secret). I hope that our faithful supporters remain interested in the movement. With strong leadership within our movement we can still have success with long term goals. Now that the goal of electing delegates for the National Convention is past and our Hawaii Republican 2006 Platform remains unchanged, it is time to move forward.

What is next on the agenda? Getting Daniel Brackins elected?
