Hi everyone,
I don't know if anyone has put a post up on here in the past about RonPaulBlog (http://www.ronpaulblog.com), so my apologies in advance if that's the case.
For those of you who don't know, a few of Ron's former staffers have been blogging about the presidential race, the freedom movement, and all things related. You can see the list of authors here (http://ronpaulblog.com/authors/).
Some of the more recent posts that you all might be interested in:
Guide to the LP Convention (http://ronpaulblog.com/2008/05/21/re-your-guide-the-lp-convention/): I talk a little about the deal that Bob Barr has struck with Richard Viguerie, as well as the "offer" he made to the RP campaign.
Gravel is No Libertarian (http://ronpaulblog.com/2008/05/21/gravel-is-no-libertarian/): Patrick talks about why Gravel doesn't deserve anyone's vote.
Former Staffer Seeks Island Paradise (http://ronpaulblog.com/2008/05/21/former-staffer-seeks-island-paradise/): I talk a little bit about the absurdity of Guantanamo.
For those who are interested, I'm also blogging on the DiscoverScholars.org blog (http://discoverscholars.wordpress.org). My latest post (http://discoverscholars.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/part-i-the-future-of-securitized-student-loans/) is a rather Austrian perspective on the crisis in student loans, and what it means for students who need help paying for school.
I also wrote recently about the role that the IRS plays in discouraging free-market based charitable ventures (http://discoverscholars.wordpress.com/2008/05/12/discoverscholarsorg-update/).
DiscoverScholars.org (http://www.discoverscholars.org) is a new public charity that I'm working to found that seeks to award scholarships to the types of students who donors wish to support. Unlike colleges, universities, or other educational foundations, we let donors specify student attributes they value when they donate.
If you have any comments or feedback about either of these things, please let me know. Just shoot me a PM or respond to this thread.
Sorry for the long post...
