To preface this clip:

Rich Magee has already covered the rules including his being the chairman able to throw anyone out for any reason. After that, the Pledge of Allegiance, Invocation, and roll tape...

Another recording from a different source coming tomorrow. The quality isn't as good but you can hear certain parts better than on this one.

Their angle is, a good and faithful republican supports the nominee selected at the primary.

But in Missouri, anyone can walk in on primary day and declare for whichever party they want, and vote in that primary.

They are saying that supporting the candidate that was selected in an OPEN PRIMARY makes you a good and faithful Republican? Ridiculous.

On a positive note, I bet that was more excitement than those old-timers have ever experienced at a Republican Convention!

I like to imagine that's how things used to be, before state level party activities became nothing more than a ceremony.

Yeah, things sound pretty hot around the 16:00 mark.... "Count the votes! Count the votes!" And then the chair asking the Seargent-At-Arms to escort the "disorderly" delegates out. I'm sure the ol'boys'club hasn't experienced anything like that before.
