like?
As much as I have disliked Kennedy's politics I hate to hear this. It will be interesting if another Kennedy takes his seat in the coming years.

and that explains why he endorsed Barrack Obama
It's the Kennedy curse
They are all corrupt and hence the onslaught of god has come upon the entire family

May he have a swift and painless recovery. My heart goes out to his family.
Brain tumors are an ugly thing.
God grant him strength and comfort and hope to him and his family.

No, JFK wanted to end the Fed - perhaps an exception to the rule.

I'm praying for him. I hope he pulls through. And I take back all of the times I said I hope dies and goes to hell. I only meant that metaphorically.

Likewise, my sarcastic comment was about his image and what he stands for. He and his family deserve the same compassion that any human being in his situation does.
I was thinking that if he has a brain tumor he will not be able to continue on, but, the neurological problems he will have after surgery will fit right in with being a politician.

I feel for the man although I lived in New England for 10 years and the man is a stinking liberal pig. The dept. of revenue in Mass just put a 60 day levy on one of my bank accounts (barely anything in it) today and it is only a matter of time before they tract down the others. They claim I owe them $2,600 which is bull but I am going to have pay them the money or eventually they will freeze all of my assets, which I cannot have and a tax attorney would cost about as much. This has nothing to do with Senator Kennedy but has influenced my decision I will admit.
Kennedy did not want to get rid of the Fed, that is a rumor backed up by something that has nothing to do with the abolishment of the Fed.

I feel bad for his family but can't fight the excitement that comes from the possibility of one less authoritarian in office - a powerful authoritarian at that. That fat bastard has been disgracing and raping (literally and figuratively ;)) the American people for too long.

Yeah, I'm mean perhaps but I have no sympathy for him. He lived a lot longer than Mary Jo.
On 19 July 1969, Kennedy attended a party on Chappaquiddick Island in Massachusetts. At about 11:00 PM, he borrowed his chauffeur's keys to his Oldsmobile limousine, and offered to give a ride home to Mary Jo Kopechne, a campaign worker. Leaving the island via an unlit bridge with no guard rail, Kennedy steered the car off the bridge, flipped, and into Poucha Pond. He swam to shore and walked back to the party -- passing several houses and a fire station -- and two friends returned with him to the scene of the accident. According to their later testimony, they told him what he already knew, that he was required by law to immediately report the accident to the authorities. Instead Kennedy made his way to his hotel, called his lawyer, and went to sleep.
Kennedy called the police the next morning. By then the wreck had already been discovered. Before dying, Kopechne had scratched at the upholstered floor above her head in the upside-down car. The Kennedy family began pulling strings, ensuring that any inquiry would be contained. Her corpse was whisked out-of-state to her family, before an autopsy could be conducted. Further details are uncertain, but after the accident Kennedy says he repeatedly dove under the water trying to rescue Kopechne, and he didn't call police because he was in a state of shock. In versions not so kind, it is widely assumed Kennedy was drunk, that he was having an affair with Kopechne, and/or that he held off calling police in hopes that his family could fix the problem overnight.

Before I start my rant, if you are religious, please do not take this the wrong way.
There are going to be those of you that pray to some religious deity for someone when they hear that they get sick. Im not one of them. There are going to be those of you that offer sympathy or condolences when they hear that someone gets sick. Again, Im not one of you. That must mean that Im a cold hearted selfish ruthless prick right? Not really. These people literally bring it upon themselves. Not thru karma, negative engergy, god is pist off at you cuz u didnt put enough money into the church basket. They bring it on themselves thru ignorance. The results of their ignorance unfortuantely get dumped on the rest of us in a majorly bad way.
In the 1930's a man by the name of Royal Raymond Rife may have discovered a method of curing most diseases known to man. The idea is very very simple. Resonant Harmonic Frequencies. Harmonic frequencies introduced to the human body has but one potential. Destroy. Depending on the frequencies used, one could destroy a cold virus, or a blood cell. Resonant Harmonic Frequencies cause cells that resonate (or "vibrate") at a specific frequency to basically self destruct, while other cells that have different resonant frequencies are unaffected. As in completely undamaged. Resonant frequencies are also used to break apart gall bladder and kidney stones, but to the best of my knowledge, not much more than that in today's medicine. Resonant Frequencies dont cause the damage to the rest of the body that surgery, radiation, chemo, and "magic" pills do. Im not saying that some of the diseases are not real and that the drugs dont have an affect on people, but we have to believe in their magic for them to make money off of us. The current from that I've heard about Rife Machines is to use an electrical current at specific frequencies to kill the bugs. And electricity is not quite as dangerous to the human body as one may believe. If you get a shock from an AC outlet, your hand doesnt just fall off. Resonant frequencies could potentially kill everything from a cancer cell, to the common cold (all 4,000 x odd infinitum strains of it), to the aids virus. This technology is over 80 years old and is still practiced by a handful of people, but I think its far from perfect.
So why wouldnt our medical industry embrace technology that could potentially make us healthier than we have ever been? Simple answer: Big Pharma doesnt make money off of healthy people. Doctors may try to apply what they are taught but the people doing the teaching dont want us healthy.
This is where their ignorance comes in. Willfully ignorant. They think their payouts from big companies are doing them favors, but all they do, in regards to the medical establishment is to hurt everyone by squashing anyone that may have something that can bring people real hope for what ails us all. They choose to think that any form of hollistic medicine is a bunch of crap practiced by people who are looney tunes and prey on peoples beliefs to turn a profit, when it really the exact opposite that is true. People are promised magic cures for everything from restless leg syndrome to social anxiety disorders. And people are all promised everything will be better once they start taking a pill. Pills are MAGIC. And MAGIC is BULLSHIT. But bullshit pills are BIG BUCKS for Big Pharma as once people start taking them, they may never get off of them. Strangely reminiscent of the tobacco companies to produce a residual income for the life of the individual.
Now imagine how great this world could be if the "best doctors" in their fields had not been spending all of their time trying to find ways to make Big Pharma more money, but instead had been practicing and researching treatments and methods that actually helped people, and didnt bankrupt the average person for something that with todays technology should be considered a trivial inconvenience.
Our great leaders are willfully ignorant of anything of potential. This ignorance results in none of us having any sense of hope for the future. Seems to me that our great leaders are just as dumb as most of the folks, being happy and content to be a sheep, to think what they are told to, and and say their lines for the world to hear. And for the few that do wake up, its usually already too late.
So I'll wish him the best of luck in waking up soon enough to not end in a morgue, but it probably wont happen.
