Ron Paul keeps a highly visible debt clock on his MySpace page. As we know the debt climbs very quickly, and it's already soon approaching $9 Trillion.

Large round numbers are especially appealing and I think the debt reaching this new Trillion-mark milestone presents a good opportunity to spread RP's views on the Federal Reserve system.

What do you think?

According to the Brillig debt clock (http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/) the debt is increasing ~1.42 Billion a day. Currently the debt is at 8.972 Trillion

9.000 - 8.972 Trillion = 0.028 Trillion or 28 Billion

28 / 1.42 Billion gives us...

At most 20 days until this milestone is passed.

EDIT: I just noticed that the Brillig clock is about 10 billion higher than RP's Myspace counter. Anyone have an idea what source he uses?
