The mindset of most republicans and democrats is always that the other is "Way worse." When you talk to them they almost always admit that both candidates are quite flawed, bought and paid for by big money, and the only ones left because they are in the news, or you have other sheeple who only know at some point they have 2 choices, and know nothing about the earlier process. By this time they all have at least a few negative sound bites about the more evil one, but they never even took the time to look into anything themselves.
Then these same dumbed down people feel so strongly to tell you that you are Just Wasting Your Vote if you are picking anything but the Chosen Two
This is what I run into all the time, with friends family and co-workers and it is so frustrating! Then they are either touchy about staying off the politics topic or some other method to just shut people up.
I do have to tell you I am guilty of wasting my Vote though.:( I have voted Since Reagan, Republican and independent 3rd party several times, but I once voted for John Kerry because I listened to these people. To me this was the only time I wasted my vote! To me now the Lesser of the Evil is not falling into this trap! How do you break through this? Perhaps with most it is just a waste of time and energy.

There is no "lesser evil" this time around.

All three, or two as time goes by, are equally bad.

This is a "choice" like being forced to pick a bowl of vomit or shit to eat, is a "choice".

I'll be writing in Ron Paul, period.

I'm voting for the most evil. Voting for the lesser of two evils is so played out.

A gross image, but it really works and describes to a "T" what I think of these sluts in suits.

Har, that's good.

You have a point: "Worse is Better"!

Hillary Clinton and John McCain are sociopaths (i.e. non-human creatures w/o consciences {like GWB and FDR} ).

Ron Paul and Barack Obama (and Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr, and even Ralph Nader) are NOT -- they are normal human beings.

That does NOT mean I endorse Obama, as I believe his policy stands are foolish, pandering, and entirely based on faulty conceptions and an ignorance of basic economics.

BUT electing someone who is wrong on lots of issues is still FAR LESS damaging to the country (and the world) than putting a pure sociopath in a position of massive power (witness the last 8 years).

Given a situation in which McCain & Obama are within the statistical measure of error both nationally and within one's own state, the lessor of two evils might become more cogent.

For eight years, Bush has been padding the Washington D.C. bureaucracy with layers of loyalists; loyal to Bush rather than the Constitution. Obama's loyalists would in some ways be worse. However, there might be some conflict between the incoming socialists and the dug in neocons that would allow a couple of more years of breathing time to take over a decimated Republican Party.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that is not evil.
