Hackers have done their jobs very well !

I found this morning that I cannot access my AOL account ! It has been terminated for TOS violations? Yes the Granny Warrior was sending out photos of dead bodies and porn messages all last night! This is the 3rd time this has happened and AOL terminated the account. You all know that I have not done such a thing and if any of you received such a message from me know that it was not me that sent that message.

I am terribly upset and that is exactly what these people seem to want. I am not going to quit ! While some people are very smart and can hack into your accounts to disrupt what we are doing it will not make us give up. This will only be another hurdle we will have to get over.

I have lost all my address book and contact lists which were on AOL so I will not be able to contact many of the people I need to be in contact with as I don't remember all those email addresses nor had them written down so please be patient and if you need to contact me do so at this address: vetoneocons@yahoo.com

I apologize if any of you received obscene messages from my account, it was definately not me sending them. I should have known when I started having problems logging on my account and having to get the password reset that something was wrong but never thought it would go this far.

Do not ever think these people will ever stop our work. As long as we have support from you we will continue to fight for our Constitutional Rights with every means we can use. The event at Sturgis will not be affected. Michelle has all the files on this event and all the receipts for reservations. Nothing has been destroyed in that area.

Thank you all again for your support. Evidently we are making some people very nervous as they are stepping up the pace to stop us.

KEEP THE FAITH PEOPLE WE WILL WIN.

Don't forget to get your Cow Patty Bingo ticket. You do not need to be present to win.

See the website and make your reservations now to assure you have a space in this event. Michelle is our organizer which is taking the reservations and fees, not the Camp. This way we know that no additional fees are being charged to you and your family.

And please send in a donation to help us pay for this huge event. We run on donations that is how we make these events free to the public and raise the awareness to the Revolution. Every dollar you donate goes directly to the event not our own use or needs. The organizers never use these funds for their own purposes. That is why our events have always been transparent and open for inspection by anyone. We are not out to make a profit but only to make a difference.

Send a donation today:

Many of you do not use Paypal so you can still mail in your donation to:

From my understanding, anyone who gets an AOL account terminated should thank thier lucky stars. Not that the hassle of rebuilding a database is a good thing, but from my understanding getting out of AOHell is next to impossible

Send them a reply that explains your situation...
and you can also add a "thank you" since they
made it so very easy to finally get rid of them!

And mention that you are adamantly helping
other people get rid of their aol and are actively
boycotting them.

Count yourself among the fortunate. AOL is a POS.

SO THAT'S how I get them to close my friends account (who has been trying to get it deleted for 104 years)...

Change your passwords regularly. Know what site you are on before you enter your password. Sometimes if you follow a link, it will lead you to a dummy site that asks for your password. If you use the same password on multiple accounts; I would clear all of your cookies, and personal info on your browser, reboot, and change the passwords on your other accounts.

years ago, after they charged me some bogus 97$
annual charge, I transfered all of my other bank
account activities to a new account instead of aol.

They didn't get another cent!

or what you can do now, is use paypals virtual debit card
which only lasts a month or two. After that runs out, they
won't have a way to take any more money from you.

And look into a more secure operating system, that works. You cannot use windows and surf the internet thinking you are secure.

Change your passwords regularly.

Good advice in general, but I'm gonna guess keylogger for the aol user who has to keep resetting their password.

This is the 3rd time this has happened and AOL terminated the account.

since you haven't gotten a real response....

you need to have it swept for viruses and trojans and all that good stuff.

if you don't have a geeky friend, you should take it somewhere.

you should have spybot OR adaware OR superantispyware (last one cost money but worth it)

Also, you should have NOD32 antivirus.

that wont help your past, but it will help it from happening again.

and do change your passwords. do not use words. use a random assortment like IigKGJiug233

There's NO SUCH THING as a secure OS. You CAN NOT SURF THE INTERNET PERIOD and think you'll be secure. The ONLY secure computers are connected to nothing and locked in a safe. If you take my advise, you will have a very good level of security.

PS- USE a router. do NOT attach directly to your cable modem or dsl.

Linda,
if you want a good, secure email address that is hosted by a pro-liberty provider, let me know. If people are targetting you with false abuse reports or whatever, they'll surely hit yahoo as well, and being a free mass-market provider, yahoo is probably more likely to cut you off than worry about landing on a blacklist themselves.

The probably used a very easy fishing technique ie..

click here to review your paypal account
or
click here to view your greeting card
or
etc..

then you click on the link, and input ur password on the dummy page (though it looks legitimate) and now they have your info.

AOL will for sure give you ur account back. You just need to call and make a ruckus. Say ur business depends on it etc.. then change ur password regularly AND DO NOT click on links inside of emails... and DO NOT input ANY PRIVATE INFORMATION unless you can look at the url and it looks legitimate.

Or they could have just filed forged spam reports. There's no real way to defend against that before the fact.
