These jerks are really getting me angry.

http://www.one.org/campus/blog/2007/11/29/rep-ron-paul-at-college-of-charleston/

That last poster is suggesting that Ron Paul supports the Marxism of the United Nations when he does NOT and saying that we who are against the UN are racists.. Where do these jerks come from? Do they not understand the platform. They of course will not print the truth.

I am hoping the campaign sues these people.

If Ron Paul thinks we should be OUT of the UN then he surely does not support Obama's Global Poverty Initiative. It's redistribution of the wealth ---- to other countries!

This comment is what I found so offensive:

"We in the States are so wealthy, we have a responsibility to take care of the poor children of the world. If the government would stop all these unnecessary wars, we could pay more to help the poor children of the world. This is exactly what Dr. Paul’s campaign stands for."

This is the exact OPPOSITE of what Paul stands for. This is MARXISM for gosh sakes!

BE nice but please insist these wackos take this off their site. If you read the article Ron said he had no idea what the campaign WAS...he believes in helping the poor through VOLUNTEERISM not government redistribution of the wealth to foreign countries!

(Because if he does, then I don't support Ron Paul) :( :( :(

I hope you are all posting to that blog in protest. They still refuse to take it down.

Also I agree with much of what this blogger says although I refuse to support McCain just because he has an R after his name:

"Wrong, AbbaFather, Dr. Paul's campaign does not stand for taking taxpayer's money and sending it overseas. Why should we worry about everyone overseas when we have people who were involved in Katrina who STILL are not in housing? When there are still parts of New Orleans that are still a mess? When there are children, HERE, in America that go to bed hungry at night? Have you been to NYC, do you see the homeless? These are Americans, and they deserve our help first. It is not the role of the government to give OUR money away to foreign countries, when our debt is in the trillions. Their responsibility is to help the people that elect them into office. If a person wants to donate to the cause, than that is their own prerogative. But for the government to take money from the taxpayers is theft.

I suggest you educate yourself.

There is one comment you wrote that I disagree with. "We in the States are so wealthy." In case you haven't realized, the middle class is falling apart - the poor are getting poorer. You obviously have no idea how it is to be middle class or lower class. There are parents that can't take their children to the doctor because they can't pay the bills. But we are wealthy? You, sir, are severely wrong. If YOu, sir, are rich, then you give to the poor children of the world, and I will continue to help the poor people HERE. I can't, and my family can't afford to pay for another country's negligence, perhaps you can. In fact, the average middle class family barely able able to survive on two incomes (http://www.usatoday.com/money/perfi/general/2003-09-14-middle-cover_x.htm). Sadly, this article was written in 2003 - I could only imagine how worse it has gotten since then. 30 million Americans make less than $9/hour (http://www.alternet.org/workplace/41192/), would you call these Americans wealthy? Do you think they can afford to have their money sent overseas to help the poor in other countries? They are poor. Who helps them? Certainly not our government.

Ron Paul also DOES NOT support the UN. In fact, he wants to get America out of the UN.

Just try to think of it like

If we stopped paying for the war

((and kept our income taxes))

then we ((as individuals)) could be doing more

to feed the children of the world

((on our own without government intervention))

They just weren't smart enough to sort it all out into "efficiency"

I'm sorry but here is how Ron really feels, as posted on the CFR website:

U.S. Policy toward Africa

Rep. Paul (R-TX) is a critic of U.S. foreign aid. In response to the White House’s 2005 announcement that it would double economic aid to Africa, Paul wrote, “a federal government with nearly $8 trillion in debt has no business giving money to anybody.”

He attributes widespread African poverty to “corruption that actually is fostered by Western aid.”

Paul was one of three representatives to vote against the Darfur Peace and Accountability Act of 2006. He was also the only representative to vote against the Darfur Accountability and Divestment Act of 2007.

What makes anyone think he's changed his mind?

Notice they did not post this?
I suggest we write to the campaign and ask that they sue ONE.
It is a 100% UN enslavement scheme - MDG and all, if you surf all the pages.

Does this post not tick you off? This person does NOT work for the campaign. I never heard such malarkey that the campaign tried to disassociate from this forum. It is just pure nonsense.

Hi again Weldon. It is sad, but there are many supporters or Dr. Paul who do not have Paul’s best interest in mind, but instead, just try to push their own beliefs on the coat tails of Dr. Paul’s campaign. This is probably where your abusive comments are coming from. Some of these groups are racist and want to push that angle (Stormfront.org is one), others are very conspiratorial and believe in secret world governments and try to ride the coattails of the campaign to push that paranoia. If you get any comments regarding ‘Millenium Development’, you’ll know it comes from the latter. (InfoWars.com and RonPaulForums.com are the two worst conspiratorial sites that we’ve been trying to disassociate from for a while.)

Paul does support the UN and the One campaign, he wears the white bracelet often. He may not be happy with all that happens in the UN, but he knows that saving children is far more important than partisan politics. We in the States are so wealthy, we have a responsibility to take care of the poor children of the world. If the government would stop all these unnecessary wars, we could pay more to help the poor children of the world. This is exactly what Dr. Paul’s campaign stands for.

What a freakin' moron this guy is.

No one said anything about Stormfront, and MDG is something MOST of us oppose here in NH and we never HEARD of 'InfoWars' before.

Anyone who uses the race card to shore up his argument is NOT a liberty minded RP supporter for sure and this guy has NO right to pretend he works for the campaign.

They snookered RP into wearing this dumb white bracelet when he had no idea what it was, just like when they used to slap the purple "I'm a health care voter" on him.

He tore it off after I told him it was for UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE.
